run large

i've been wearing these for yrs. and always buy the same size. these are slightly larger than the last 2-3 pair of same size ordered another style of ecco and my reg. size fits fine. apparently various size 44 are all different !

Used to be an amazing shoe

I don't know if they've changed something. I've bought this same shoe for years. About 10k steps 5 days a week in them. This current Ecco has lasted less than 6 months. Been wearing this brand for at least ten years, but I'll be switching to another brand because I think the quality has dropped. Disappointed. Loved this shoe for so many years.

Not The Same

The color is much more brown in hue, than cognac… disappointed. The texture quality of leather is not as good as what I expected .. it seems inferior to previous model number and style. Not sure I want to keep these…. also I had seen several lower cost on exact same shoes online within Amazon.. confusing… I ended up paying highest cost …. I think consistent quality is a problem for ECCO… I have spent hundreds of dollars on ECCO over the years… having doubts. Sad.

Used to be better

Before this pair of shoes, I had Ecco Holton's. They were so much more comfortable and and were much better built in my opinion. For me, the sizing was perfect on the old pair. The same size on these runs small, even after a few months of wearing, and the next size up is too big on these. However, I'm incredibly satisfied by the support- I sent my pair of Holton's back when I bought these and they did give me a voucher for a free pair of shoes after the soles split after 3 years. Will I stick with these? Probably. Will I go search next time I need to buy new ones? For sure. Ecco- please improve your quality how it used to be and bring back the Holtons!

Understand the dual insole if the fit feels off

I actually returned my Amazon order of these as they were a bit too small even though it was the normal size I wear in Eccos. I was at the mall later on and stopped by the Ecco store to see if they had a larger size to try on. The clerk came back with the same sized I returned and explained they usually run large but then also explained how the dual insole works. When you get these in the box there is a second insole under the one you see on top. If you remove the one underneath, just a black piece of cushioning, and slip the top one back in, it not only make the shoe feel slightly larger it also makes it feel slightly wider. That was the trick I needed and they ended up fitting similar to other Eccos I have purchased in the past. We'll see now if these last as long.

So far so good

I’ve only used them twice so far for whole days at the office and they were very comfortable and they look good. A+ for large feet.

Stylish and comfortable...exactly what I wanted!

Saw this pair of stylish and comfortable shoes in the mall....but no-one had the size and colour (black) that I needed. So one of the sales person suggested that I try on the brown ones with the size that I wanted to ensure comfort and fit, and then buy the black ones online. Searched online and came across this on Amazon's website...it was cheaper than retail store (in-store and online) and I got an extra 10% off for purchasing it via the Amazon app! It arrived promptly right after I ordered it and it fits well and I love the style...blunt tip without laces. So far, I've only worn it for special occasions (birthday and anniversary) because I want to keep it in good condition for as long as I can!
