So far, so good

I put this media into my Eheim 2180 filter and the water has been crystal clear ever since. It's been about 2 months since I purchased this filter and media for my aquatic turtles, which are a lot dirtier than fish, and the water has been clear. Very cool set up.

Can't beat Eheim media

Been running it in my cycled 90 gallon aquarium for close to 2 months now. I have zero ammonia problems, and crystal clear water. Eheim is worth the extra money.

Great media for an amazing filter. It does however come with a hefty price tag, so that's something you likely want to consider.

Worlds Best Media For The Worlds Finest Filters

I've used eheim filter for over thirty five years. They're more expensive on the front end but with minimal care they'll out last and out perform any filter on the market. The eheim filter media is no exception, it's best you can buy at any price and will colonize massive amounts of healthy nitrifying bacteria in no time. Making your water cleaner and what is more - less prone to ammonia spikes. I run quite a few of the filters from the Pro line including the 2080 and the XL1200. The G160 a 2074 and 2078 which come with media but I prefer to use and layer what comes in the kit. Yes, the media is expensive but it lasts a lifetime and you get enough to fill more than one filter.
