Who knew you could buy a replacement lid??
I've had my Vitamix for decades (literally!) but over time, the rubber lid had degraded to a sticky mess, which discouraged blender use. My new cap fits perfectly, meaning that smoothies, nut milks, and freshly ground whole grain flours are at my fingertips at a moment's notice.

I can't even... crappy
The fact that I've researched the bananas or if finding the right vitamix lid size for the right blender model & this still didn't work is beyond comment. It also shows as a vitamix product in the photo, but it's really generic chinese. Only if you have a smaller blender than 64 oz. Should you take the chance.

I purchase this often for my business, we use our Vita-mix a lot and after alot of use it gets a bit grimy. I do wish Vita-Mix would come out with something more durable for washing and a way to see that it is clean, the black color always makes me feel it is "hiding" stuff and I worry it isn't clean enough.

It Took 20 Years to break! Now I have a new one
My lid finally broke after 20 years of use and I was able to replace it with a new one. I am happily blending again!
