Great for the money

If I were to buy again I might look for slightly higher price point. However, this one is working fine & is great value for the $$.

Clever design

I got these because batteries can be unreliable depending on the temperature and electricity isn’t available to the area we need lit. They were easy to install and so far are working nicely. We especially like that they stay on all night as long as they’ve been exposed to enough sunlight during the day (4+ hours), and that they brighten when motion is detected.

For years in summer and winter these solar power lights have worked faithfully.

All features of these lights worked as advertised. Must be set up as instructed to see best results. I am very pleased with their performance.

Best reliable solar light for my application.

Well made light. Durable and has survived one raining season without any water leaking inside of the 6 lights I bought. Great light to put in area away from electrical wire or plugs. I have mine screwed on the front wood fence post that lights up the side walk. When a car passes by or person the lights go bright. Perfect to light up dark areas at night. Will recommend and buy again.

Solar Powered Motion Sensor Dusk to Dawn Outdoor Flood Light

Bought thiseLEDing 56 LED Super Bright Solar Powered Wireless Waterproof Motion Sensor Dusk to Dawn Wall Flood Light Outdoor Lamp for Yard, Garden, Patio, Deck White to illuminate our flag during the night. The instructions for installation were a little challenging when it came to installing the arm on the circular mounting bracket. The arm actually installs sideways and that didn't become obvious until I had fought with it and it won. Also it is not as large as I supposed, and what looks like a pivot point at the middle or the arm is only a useless hole. Not as adaptable it I hoped - limited the installation options. Finally, after three days of it working, I went out at 4:00 am and checked to see if it was still on... No. I suspect that when the flag moves, the light goes to full bright, and the battery does not have the capacity to go all night. I may try to turn off the motion sensor because the "moonlight" setting is sufficient. Basically I'm disappointed.

More than four years later

We bought this light for our cabin out in the woods. Recently, a sleet storm resulted in us losing power for several days. Even though this light does NOT see direct sunlight (I did say the cabin was in the woods) this light kept chugging along for several days, providing us with critical light needed to get up and down the steps in the absence of power. I am very impressed with the battery life given that a thick coating of the snow and ice sat on top of the solar cell for the entire four day period. This unit has functioned continuously through > four years of weather, so it's obvious that we got a good one.

Not recommended for states that get snow

This is a nice light and super easy to install. I installed it in the summer and it worked great. But because of the design of the light when it snows the entire solar panel is instantly covered and the light is rendered inoperable. So here in Michigan basically that means it doesn't work from December through March (right when it is the darkest time of year).

So far so good. Absolutely love the product

So far so good . Absolutely love the product .. all features etc are spot on , works exactly as it says . Would recommend to any and everyone . Small , simple but powerpacked . Let you in on a little secret , unfortunately I have gutters attached around full perimeter of roof yeah , BUT I detach it on the weekend , allow to charge in direct sun all day and ta da , works flawlessly without a glitch for the entire of that following week . Soo hint , hint if the manufacters could come up with an arm / contraption to extend it out from under the gutter would be great !!

Nice design, well made, lasts for ages and very bright

The media could not be loaded. Gone are the days of the 500w flood light on a sensor lighting up the whole estate because the local cat is doing its rounds, much nicer to have a light that only lights your garden and on a local sensor, especially as the power to this one is free. I like this solar powered light - draws sunlight in during the day and releases it at night. In non-activated mode it gives off a dim light that gives enough light to see in the gloom and then whe you get close it automatically turns on to full power with a very bright light that certainly lights my garden. I put mine on a tree to test it and am waiting to see just how much sunlight it can absorb to charge the battery and expect to be moving it in a week or so as I doubt it will get enough sunlight under a thick fir tree, especially now winter is darkening the days. Mind you it has lots of solar sensors on the top - many more than other products and so far it has stayed lit all night and the sensor turns it off during the day Comes with screw fittings and a pin to push into the on/off switch hole.

Early days, but seems good

I never thought I would pay around £30 for an LED light, but this is in a different class to lights i have had previously. Construction is good quality plastic and the light is far brighter than expected. It won't replace a powerful halogen, but it will provide a decent amount of light in those dark parts of your garden!

easy to fit

Compact, easy to fit,gives like a moonlight glow all night, lights up brighter when activated. Not sure if its charging yet, need to give it another month to see how it copes.
