Best potato gratins!
I have been making individual potato gratins for years in standard white ramekins and decided to give these a try. The gratin bottoms and sides lightly browned to perfection. I’ll never go back to the white ramekins now. Just lay thin potato slices in these to the tops, bring some heavy cream, a bay leaf. pinch of thyme and some salt and white pepper to a simmer. Remove from heat snd take the bay leaf out. Pour over potatoes and top with Gruyere or Swiss cheese. Bake at 350 for 60-65 minutes. Perfect!. Love these!

They are really nice
I like them they are well made and are a little smaller than I thought but we used them so far to make baked eggs if you decide to make baked eggs make sure to add some bacon or grease them with cooking spray as they will stick. I think they are well made and I am very happy with the product!

Great ramekins
These are beautiful ramekins. The size is handy for more than baking and I use another set I have for ice cream. The red color is especially nice. Too bad I can’t use them as both sets I ordered arrived broken.

Chipped during shipping
These are beautiful ramekins and Emile Henry makes a good product. However, they are poorly packaged for shipping. I have ordered these three times and they’ve all arrived damaged (chipped). I’ll wait and purchase them in a store in the future.

Received chipped, but returning item was not a problem at all!
I have amassed quite a collection of Emile Henry ceramics now--baking dishes, cookware, bread-bakers, and miscellaneous items like utensil, spoon, salt, and garlic keepers. I love each and every one of them! I thought it was time to get some ramekins to use as small dishes for measuring out spices and such to add while cooking. Unfortunately, one of them was badly chipped around the edge. They were packaged very well, however. Returning them was no problem at al. I simply printed out a mailing label and brought the pkg to UPS. That was it! This is a great seller to buy from.

So far it's holding up
I use these to make breakfast for the most part. Pour in eggs and other fixings. Pop into microwave and viola. So far no issues. Can also use to hold snacks on occasion.

Quality
Bought these to use in the air fryer for making Yorkshire Pudding and small scotch pies, onion soup. Perfect when cooking for one. They cost a little more than the Chinese ones but you get what you pay for. A quality product made in France by a company that use the best materials and have pride in their products. Would highly recommend spending the extra bucks for these and other products from this company.

I love these ramekins! Pros: - beautiful colour, as pictured - they feel heavy and high quality - they clean up super easily - no issues with scratches after many uses - things bake well and evenly in them! No burnt edges. Cons: - a bit expensive, but you're paying for quality with these. I highly recommend.

So beautifully made, they'll inspire you to cook!
Love it! Love it! Love it! These ramekins are so beautifully made that they can be used just as a decoration. "Artisan", "skillfully handcrafted" are words that come to mind when you behold them with your eyes and hands. Of course, there's the functionality too. They are so versatile that they can be used for souffles, creme brulees, guacamole dips, tortillas, etc. Now, to fight off the temptation to buy all the other Emile Henry cookwares.....
