My 3 year old son is a blanket baby but since getting for Christmas, this caterpillar is his new go to sleeping buddy. He loves this so much and it is really good quality

Good size! Not too big, not at all small!

I love it! My little is going to love it too! I hope he carries it around and makes it his new lovey. It is very huggable! I wish I could get the big one that I saw at Toy Joy last year. I was preparing myself for this one to be very small even though I wanted it to be the size that it is. I am happy with this was a good kindergartener birthday gift purchase, and relieved at how fast it arrived!

Grandson LOVES it!

This is definitely one of our 18 month old grandson's favorite stuffed toys. He looks for it as soon as he comes in the room & we love the smile that lights up his face when he sees it & patters over to pick it up! It just warms your heart.

Amazing quality, size and likeness

Bigger than I was expecting, its about a ‘Footlong’ :p Lovely material, looks just like the book. My son is TVHC obsessed so I bought this as a treat when the price dropped (woop!) My only gripe, and I think this is just bad luck, is that the one I received was in an opened bag and smelt like it had been sat in someone’s house for weeks?! Like, musty. As it happens, I Febreezed it (didn’t actually help) and kept it cos I’m not sure Amazon has a returns option for this situation? Also, faff. But I’m sure it’ll soon smell better and it is such a lovely toy!!

Excellent quality

The ‘Very Hungry Caterpillar’ is made from a lovely soft material and the features of the caterpillar are extremely well made. This is a Christmas present for one of my granddaughters who loves the story - she will be delighted with it and so am I !

Love it.

I showed a small version of this to my daughter in Mothercare when she was 4 months. It was the first toy she ever grabbed for and she wouldn't let it go. I begrudgingly paid the £10 for the small toy but it was worth it as it still is one of her favourite toys at nearly 8 months. When I saw this large version on amazon for almost the same price I paid for the little one, I had to get it. It is now THE toy and has to go everywhere. She wont sleep without it. She loves to cuddle up to it and play with the antennas to get to sleep. She still loves the little one too.

False advertising

It states it’s ‘large’ and 12 inches long but even stretched out it barley makes 10! I paid over the odds for what I thought was a larger version for my autistic son but it’s actually smaller than the free one that comes with the book! Very disappointed

Smaller then expected

I paid £16 for this product which I’m not bothered about as my son will love it, but... the picture is so deceiving, it’s described as large but I’d definitely say it’s more of a medium size. The picture with the girl is very deceiving as it makes you believe it is a lot bigger then what it is. On the other hand my son is going to love it no matter what!
