Utilitarian

I thought this bag was ugly when I first opened the box. It is odd-shaped, ugly, and, as I found out, impeccably useful. I travel a lot and I am a bag junkie. Most verticle messengers are too narrow to be useful, while traditional messenger bags are so bulky that they flop all over and weigh down your shoulder. Although I hate velcro this has many useful compartments: a zip pocket for quick access to phone, maps, and necessities, smaller mesh pockets for tissue, ear plugs, chap stick, a small pouch on the shoulder strap which I use for pepper spray or hand sanitizer, and even 2 pen holders for those pesky customs forms. It is a little "blah" and definitely not as cool looking as a Timbuk2 or Hendgren, but it's cheap and it works so what more can you ask for. Minus a star for: no separate water bottle holder, no keyring or lanyard, and the material is a bit thin.

Great bag for theme parks.

I bought two of these bags for my family's trip to Walt Disney World. The construction on both was very good. No loose seams or incorrect stitching. The bags also held up very well to rain during the trip, though they are not waterproof. The bag was also comfortable to wear and very adjustable. I was able to tuck it behind my back for most rides at the park without causing a safety issue or damaging the bag.This bag is the perfect size for packing a sandwich and a juice pack it the big back pocket. The flap pocket fit my cellphone and wallet, plus my Disney ticket and magic band when I wasn't wearing it. Finally the pocket under the flap was great for my small first aid kit, baby wipes, and a toy for my nephew. Overall I think these bags are a great choice for a week at a theme park or for short hikes in the woods.

THIS ! This bag is wonderful. I take it with me wherever I go. My first was beginning to get a bit threadbare, from so much use. I carry my iphone, my ipad air and my kindle inside, along with a variety of accessories, a notepad and some pens. The pouch on the strap contains the earphone/mic that came with the iphone, and I also have added a small pouch containing a compact MP3 player. I anticipate purchasing one of these again from time to time as I wear them out.

Just as described

This bag is just as it was described. It's a convenient way to carry a lot of stuff. The only feature I don't like is the cell phone holder- it's attached to the strap with velcro and isn't totally secure (and it's in a weird position.) I may sew it onto the bag itself eventually but for now I only use it to carry lotion or other less valuable items.

What I like about these is that they are not to big ...

I purchased one for my daughter and one for myself. What I like about these is that they are not to big and sling well across my body...perfect when I am going to an event or travelling. However, the fabric on the bottom of the bag has worn through; I'm not sure how much longer it will hold up.

poor lining material

I purchased this one to replace one my wife has had for years. She has a rip in the liner that makes up the inside front flap on her old bag. So I thought I'd get her a new one. It ripped in the same place. She used it for one day. The inner liner is ripping at the seams where the boarder is stitched. This seems like a problem with the design. Going to see about getting the bag fixed by Everest. If they do, and it holds up for more then a few months I'll adjust the review. Until then I have no reason to believe this product holds up to the Everest of the past. I have backpacks that are 20 years old by Everest that are still holding together just fine with hard use.

Perfect hair set bag

I love using this bag on set. The only thing I wish is that it had an expandable phone pocket and holder for a water bottle on the outside

This bag is amazingly comfortable, and I've thought about getting a larger one.

I use this bag for dog walks. I fill it up with bird seed and peanuts and feed birds and squirrels along the walk. It holds all that, plus dog things, poo bags, treats, and even a pepper spray can. (I live in a city and our dogs are small.)
