Large and Comfy!

This bed is huge and comfortable, and my dogs love it! The order came fast and well packaged. The sleep surface is VERY soft, with a nice foam texture that is perfect for my senior lab mix. My only complaint is that I purchased the largest size, which is supposed to be for dogs up to 44lbs. This bed is HUGE and would most likely work for the largest dog breeds. In the photos, the white dog is 49lbs, and the smaller brown dog is 18lbs, and they both fit on this bed with plenty of room to spare. It does take up a lot of space in my house, so I would recommend sizing down, as I think the medium would have been just fine for us.

Dog Bed Favorite

I recently purchased this bed for my dog. He is a younger adult dog, but absolutely loves it! At first, I was worried about it not being big enough, but he has plenty of room to spread out. The inside surface is so soft and gives him the perfect amount of squishiness for his body during his long naps. Having the bolster around the bed comes in handy when he wants a pillow to rest his head no matter where he lies. It also gives some comfort being closed in a little. The material is soft, yet seems very durable and should last a long time. I highly recommend this bed for any age dog.

Best Dog Bed for BIG dogs!

I have a 102lb Pit Mix (bought the LG) and worry about his joints and being comfortable while he sleeps. I barely got the bed out of the box before he laid down and fell asleep. Highly recommend. Really thick sturdy orthopedic bed.

It’s huge!

I ordered this hoping both my medium dogs could share. I guess I should have looked at the measurements closer because it’s even bigger than I expected. I could probably lay in it with my dogs too lol. It seems to be really good quality. The bottom is a soft Sherpa and the bolsters are a nice canvas. The foam in the bottom is comfy yet dense so should hold up well. The cover comes off for easy cleaning and both the holster cushions and bottom cushion come out. I have a similar bed that the bolsters don’t come out and it makes it much more difficult to wash so I’m thankful the bolsters are removable as well. A couple things I don’t love is that the bolsters are really short. I don’t think they are big enough to actually provide any comfort or support to a dog especially a large dog so they’re more just decorative. The other thing I don’t love is that the Sherpa bottom is white. Yes it’s washable but the white is almost certainly going to stain anyway and start to look dingy pretty quickly. It also has a pretty chemically smell but hopefully after airing out a bit it will be better. One thing I thought it would note is that this isn’t vacuum packs or anything so if you order the large be prepared for a very very large, like comically large, like almost refrigerator sized box. Had it been wrapped in some plastic or something it could easily have fit in a much much smaller package. As far as price, for what it is, I think it’s a bit overpriced. I have gotten similar Serta brand dog beds, although about a foot smaller, at Sam’s for like $40 so I would have trouble justifying more than triple that. The Sam’s ones had more cushion and actually functional bolsters as well. This one isn’t particularly pretty or fashionable either so I personally with the Sam’s club option. Overall it’s a decent dog bed and seems like it will hold up over time for the most part, but due to price I definitely won’t be purchasing and more.

Giant Bed - 44lb+ Easily

I am currently staying with my parents who have a 50lb Black Mouth Cur and I myself have a 65lb Black Mouth Cur - and both are pretty rough on the dog beds we have around the house. They wrestle/rough house in the beds (and even play the occasional game of tug-o-war with one of them - ugh). As such, I thought it would be nice to order this and get a nicer-looking one (and not so worn one) for them. As this said it was for 44lb max, I thought only one would fit and it would be for when they're curled up sleeping. To my surprise... this bed is massive and easily fits both of them in it! They now have a bed large enough for them to be able to lay in together and to snuggle. My parent's dog is obsessed with it and has to be lured out of it with treats (whereas before he preferred the couch to a bed) and my dog is still unsure of the memory foam feeling as he's always somewhat preferred the pillow beds. Regardless, they both seem to be happy that they can snuggle/both sleep it in. Highly recommend for the giant breed dogs or multi-dog families!

Great for Great Danes!

I'm not sure why the description says the bed supports up to 44 pounds, but it can absolutely support a 140-pound dog. This size is perfect for Great Danes. It also feels really soft to the touch and pretty durable. My 5-year-old Great Dane has pretty bad anxiety and paces a lot, but he's mellowed out a lot after getting this. I think he really likes it!

Huge bed

I got the Flash Furniture Gray Orthopedic Bolster Dog Bed with Comfy Memory Foam Base for Dogs in Large. I mostly paid attention to this being the bed listed as for 44 lb+ dogs. However, I should have looked closer at the dimensions. This is a huge bed for my 53 lb dog and could probably fit another dog the same size. This is a supportive bed with a sherpa top and she loved it immediately. (She's even curled up on it right now.) I like that the cover is removable and washable. That makes things so much easier. Finding a spot for this bed was tricky since it is so large, but I'm glad that my dog loves it!
