Who is running?

I recently had an issue with my toilet running and was unable to get a plumber to come out and take a look at it. However, I was determined to find a solution to the problem and after some research, I stumbled upon a product that could potentially help me fix the issue - the Toilet Flapper. I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised by the results. The product was easy to install and worked like a charm. I no longer hear the annoying sound of running water all day and my toilet has been working great ever since. Overall, I am very pleased with the Toilet Flapper and would highly recommend it to anyone who is experiencing similar issues with their toilet. It's a great product that does exactly what it's supposed to do and has saved me the hassle of having to deal with a plumber.

Kind of works, needed modification

Because this is the only stopper I have tried to use on this toilet I can't be certain that the stopper was to blame. However, I can say that 1 in 5 flushes it would not sink back down and seal completely. The stopper on sitting flush/not falling at all, would cause the bowl to drain and expensive city water to wash down the drain. A dollars worth of fishing lead placed in a bag inside of the stopper causes it to fall and seal every time.

Great product

This was the third different kind of flapper I bought and the first one to work effectively. It was also very easy to install as a person with no kind of background in plumbing.

This fixed my noisy toilet.

Even after installing a new replacement fill valve, my toilet was constantly running and making water refilling noise. I didn't think the fill valve was defective so I ordered this flapper, and as soon as I replaced our old flapper, the water refilling noise went away. I'm super happy because we're conserving water and enjoying the quietness. 5 stars.

Easy and effective install

This was the first time I've changed the flapper on a toilet, but it was quick, easy, and effective in stopping the leak the previous one had created.

So many DIY jobs become a pain - this was easy and 100% effective

I recently found that there was a constant trickle of water from the toilet cistern into the pan. The cistern has a Fluid Master flapper valve that I fitted in 2011 and I noticed that when it was in the shut position it wasn't forming a water tight seal any more. After lots of fiddling about and no success (in fact, I ended up making things worse so that the trickle became a proper flow!), I discovered through blogs that the flapper mechanism often become distorted after typically 5 years of use and need to be replaced. There's no need to replace the whole flush mechanism, just the red valve. I ordered a replacement flapper valve and installed it within 10 minutes (the bit that took longest was fiddling to get the chain to the right length). Note that Fluid Master produces 3 variants of the flapper valve - the one I needed was a 502, so should you need to replace yours please just check that yours looks the same as this one; if not, it could be a 501 or 504 variant.

Easily helped to get rid of leak

I ordered this to fix a leak for our toilet . It was easy to install and helped fix it quickly. I used it for 1.68gpf toilet which is an old one . Did set it up for less water flush setting . Works as expected . Thanks

Working fine

Working fine and no leaks, however water adjustment is tricky, and no mater the direction I select, the flushing can be slow at time and at times not, very sporadic. Would have been a better product without that gimmick
