Warm and durable

I love wool because it is natural - breathable, wicking, warm and really comfortable. I love these socks because they are just like some I purchased many years ago and still have! They are a little pricey for socks but considering how Long they last and how great they feel they are a real bargain. I searched a long time to find these and am really happy with the product. They are very well made and real quality.

The perfect product. Same all wool socks I ordered almost 50 years ago under a different brand name. These are absolutely terrific, moisture-wicking, comfortable, and soft. Love them.

Good socks, weird chemistry

This was my first experience with these white wool socks, and I was excited to find them after Wigwam discontinued their "Husky" white wool socks (for which I had had trouble finding replacements). The FoxRiver socks arrived in good time, fit well and are generally nice and soft and warm. They do, however, also have some unusual chemical in the fabric - perhaps it's the result of their being "shrink treated" - I'm not sure. For most people this would not be an issue, but for anyone like myself who suffers from chemical sensitivity, it could be a problem. There's some chemical in the socks that makes my skin crawl, although I have washed them several times already. I continue to wear them (I need warm socks), but they're not as comfortable-feeling, perhaps as not as non-toxic, as the Wigwam Huskies, and I will continue to search for a different, less toxic replacement.

Even though it’s blazing hot outside, my feet still get cold. Only wool socks can keep them warm. I’ve had many pair of wool socks and these are the best. They aren’t too tight, they’re soft and fit well.
