Had potential, but leaks [photo]

The overall design is good. The wide roller distributes pressure nicely for use on areas where the more concentrated pressure of a ball design would be too intense. However, when we received ours, we immediately noticed some crusty corrosion on both pivot points of the roller, where the metal washers are [see photo]. That seemed odd, but I wrote it off to possibly cheap metal. I cleaned the corrosion and added a drop of lubricating oil. When we actually used the roller, however, drips of darkly colored liquid leaked out of the pivot points... Lots of drops. (No, it wasn't just the lubricant I applied.) I tried shaking out the liquid you can hear sloshing inside the roller, and some would come out a few drops at a time. It smelled metallic. Doesn't seem like I'll be able to remove all the liquid without shaking the thing for hours or drilling a hole in it. I'm returning this one in hopes of finding a better made alternative of similar design.

Great idea, but the design is flawed

For starters, the ends of the roller leaks of fluid ( that's what makes the roller colder). The roller itself is fantastic and works out the knots after awhile of rolling.they should design it without fluid and I think it would be fine. The fluid is black and then mineralized. I had to return it.

Cold therapy made super easy!

I love this thing so much I may buy a second one for my office. I get overheated very easily and this is so nice to have on hand. I have fibromyalgia and frequently deal with muscle pain. This helps so much more than just laying on an ice pack. I use it for the back of my neck and my shoulders just about every night. If you have someone around you can bribe to use it on your back, its even better. I've also used it for relief from migraines and TMJ pain.

Love it!!

OMG ....I just got this today and I love it! It feels amazing, between the cold and the smoothness of the roller I am very happy with this product! My only complaint is I wish the handle was just a bit longer since I'm using it on myself. Other than that it's awesome!!! I even rolled it on my head, I have long hair and it didn't catch my hair.
