Gamakatsu hooks are a terrific brand with Lazer sharp points. These wacky hooks are exactly what I was looking for. I needed to slow down my trick worm fall to maximize action. Hook set ratio was great as well.

Go small on the hook size.

My lake has its own bass club and is therefore a highly pressured Lake to fish but with this I have been pulling them in when those “pros” ain’t getting bit. I do a lot of finesse fishing and I love my casting gear. With these hooks I can use them on a medium light or even medium rod, fast action (depending of the flick shake worm size). Definitely worth giving them a try.

Great hooks

These are great hooks for a weighted wacky rig. I have found them to be extremely sharp,. They can be a little brittle and I have broken a couple with removing them from the fish. Maybe it was the hook, maybe it was the way I was wrenching them or that I use needle drivers instead of needle nose pliers. Bottom line if the hook is in their mouth I have almost never lost one.
