Bought two of these. One of the end hooks broke off in the hitting session I first used it with. I guess I should be a better player and hit the ball in the sweet spot instead of on the vibration dampener but still... The other one is still going strong so maybe I got a bad one?

No!

What dampeners do and don't so is up for debate. What is no longer a question for me is--it doesn't matter if the dampener won't stay on the racket. The maker suggests not stretching these dampeners because they might break on impact, but not stretching them means almost any impact might knock them off your racket--at least that has been my experience. I won't be buying these again...

It pops

It's good.. in overall. It doesn't fall off as some small dampeners do. It does it job. BUT.. it pops when you miss hit the ball to the dampener... The green/yellow liguid (some sort of paint i guess)leaks out...not cool..

Cheaply made clasps broke on day one

I bought one of these and on my first excursion with it on my racket, I’m not sure if a ball hit it or not, but I looked down and the clasp broke rendering it useless. Surely, you’re not expected to hit the “sweet spot” every time you use your racket. If you do, this may be the right dampener for you. If not, buy a different kind.
