Very flattering

This blouse has a nice hang, the neckline is flattering, not too short not too long. Color is mauve-like very pretty in the satin finish type of fabric without being too shiny.

Beautiful blouse!

Fit is a little bigger and lower cut than I expected so I have to wear it with a cami/bralette, but otherwise very comfortable and good quality. I've gotten several compliments on the color.

A little low cut, but love it otherwise

I'm surprised at how many people reviewed this blouse poorly. I think it's a great blouse. It's a dressy-ish material. It's not silk or as shiny as silk, but it's a little nicer than regular cotton. I find that silky/satiny blouses aren't always the most comfortable, but this fabric is just textured enough to feel like a regular shirt, and therefore, feel pretty comfy. The buttoned sleeves can be rolled up if you prefer. The back is cut just slightly longer than the front, which is nice. If you are blessed in the posterior area. Yes, it might have a few wrinkles, but nothing like a linen or silk top. My only issue is that it's very low cut. I'm short waisted, so necklines tend to sit lower on me anyway. I have to wear a tank top under this one. Overall, I think this blouse is super cute and it fit's well.

Attractive v-neck top

This is a pretty standard product that the Gap has been selling for years. I own several of these type shirts from the Gap and elsewhere. The V on this one does go fairly low but I always couple these shirts with a white undershirt when I need for it to look professional enough to wear to work. The build quality is fairly standard for the Gap. I noticed a couple stray threads on this one but no pulls or anything. I got this one as a complimentary sample but it's nice enough that I might buy another couple in different colors.

Very Thin/Sheer Material - Runs a Little Large - Otherwise Comfortable

I was hoping I would like this top more but unfortunately, for me, it’s just ok. I am pretty hot and cold about Gap products.. on one hand i like that its actually a brand I know so I know what expectations are appropriate but on the other hand, its a pretty simple ordinary shirt so the current $50 price feels a bit much compared to the quality. I find this a lot with Gap items.. quality is just ok but price is substantial.. To me it feels like one is buying the brand name rather than an actual quality shirt.. My biggest problem is there isn’t much to it. The fabric is very thin in my opinion and I personally had issues with it being especially see through. I didn’t notice many other people mentioning this so perhaps I’m being sensitive but, in my opinion, it feels too sheer and thin for a “wear alone” type top. I got the navy so I’m surprised it is so sheer. In addition, being in daylight also causes it to be more revealing. Wearing a cami or, sticking to natural colored undergarments will fix this issue though. More so, i am not happy with how thin the material is. It doesn’t feel substantial at all. But, that being said, it is light and airy which can be a good thing. It comes pretty wrinkled and I assume wrinkles will be an ongoing issue so extra maintenance like ironing will be necessary. The fit is much less flattering than I expected. The V-neck goes down pretty far and the sleeves were a little long for me. Tucking it in looks cuter and rolling up the sleeves helps. The shirt is definitely meant to be loose but i found it to be especially baggy to where i had to adjust it often. I am 5’5 and 120lbs so i wear a Small and did order the Small. I recommend possibly sizing down if you have that option, unfortunately in my case, small was the smallest size. Otherwise it is comfortable. It feels like ok quality, not bad but nothing special and very basic. Overall i think the price is a little high. For the quality and for what the shirt actually is.. I would think $25-30 could be more reasonable.. it’s currently listed at $49.99 Unfortunately I’m just not very impressed. Brand names don’t really impress me so the actual quality is just ok. The sheerness/thin material limits how i will wear it and how much i will wear it. For me it’s just nothing special and is quite underwhelming.

Feels wonderful

The fabric is dreamy. It’s silky and drapey and looks and feels amazing. It feels expensive. The fit is fine. I normally wear a 2X in plus size and I ordered this in a XXL (which is hit or miss for me at Gap) but this definitely works. It’s roomy and swishy but not too big. The only thing I can complain about is that the neck opening goes a little too deep (reveals the top of my bra if it walks itself down a bit) and the sleeves are a *smidge* on the long side, but the sleeve thing is something I almost always struggle with in blouses so that’s probably a me thing. Overall I LOVE this top! Would definitely consider ordering more in other colors.
