Superior signal range! Lack of 'tactile' feedback, but not an issue
Glad I bought this Remote — it works FAR better than the 'no name' brand remote that I purchased a few months back. PROS: VERY good range for transmitting the 'open, & close' signals!!! The generic remote had to be quite close to the garage door before it would be sensed by my Genie® IntelliCode® door-opener motor. THIS remote however works reliably from all the way out in the street; its signal is very strong. This is awesome! The only 'CON' (and it's not a show-stopper) is that there is little to no "tactile" feedback as to when you've pressed a button. In other words, there is no 'click', or no feedback that tells your finger that you've made contact with the button-press. But, not a huge deal as when you immediately see the garage door(s) opening, you can rightly assume the button made contact. I also like the design of the remote, the fact that you can clip it to your car's visor — OR put it on a key-ring. Being able to control (up to 3) garage doors from one singular small remote control is also great. Well worth the purchase price!!

This remote is very easy to set up and works very well
This remote was exactly what I was wanting. Following the included directions, it was extremely easy to program. It works very well up to a distance of about 30'. I often carry one in my shirt pocket and it hasn't inadvertently gone off. I use this remote to control one garage door, but like that this can control up to three door if I need to do so in the future. I highly recommend this 3 button garage door opener by Genie.

Very easy to program to your garage door opener. Works well, with good range. Only one small complaint might be that remote buttons are easily (inadvertently) pushed while in your pocket. Could open a garage door without realizing it if you’re around back of the house. Would be a nice upgrade if they had a little protective slide cover for the buttons when you’re not using the remote. Otherwise, very convenient to have remote right on your keychain with you.

Easy to program and works well so far
Generally, this was a good buy as it does the intended job and was very easy to program. I haven't been able to test the range, but hopefully, I can activate my garage from 20-30 ft away. Some good points: - It's easy to program - It fits a battery size that is easy to find. - It looks sleek and small and it out of the way in your car. What we didn't like. - The buttons lack any kind of positive feedback, it would be better if they were a little more "clickey" - There are three buttons and we have one garage door. I was going to program all three buttons to do the same thing for ease of use. But it appears that you can only assign one button per door. It must know that it's the same door because the other buttons stop working when you program another one for the same door. Before buying this one, I had a universal unit that was frustrating to use. Sometimes it would require multiple clicks, and we'd be outside the garage door waiting for it to open. It would also be very slow so we'd click the button more than once, only to see the door go up and then back down again. This Genie remote is much better. Opens the door right away. This means my wife isn't as stressed, which means I'm not stressed! Edit: After a week of use, I can say that with my usage, it works fine from about 200' away (60 meters). I wish I got this the first time and not bothered with a no name remote.
