Countertop Mason Jar

I bought in yellow I luv it! It holds the water and the spout works with no issues. When the water level is low lean the jar forward to speed up the flow.

Love this, I used this for my son’s first trip around the sun themed party and put mango juice in it—it was a hit. The color is so fun and bright! And works really well, just need a little plate to catch any drips.

Mostly Charming

The spigot on this Gibson dispenser is just plastic, but easy enough to replace if you want a fancier one. The tin bottom doesn’t look that great on the inside as there is some bubbling where it’s connected but even if you use it for something else you won’t notice unless it’s upside down and empty. The wide opening of the bottle is great as there is plenty of room to reach in and clean. I like the French country, vintage vibe this has, but I may exchange the tin base for something more sturdier.

Perfect for continuous brew kombucha--really appreciate plastic spout

This is exactly what I was looking for to make continuous brew kombucha. The plastic spout is key, as metal will corrode,. Even if you are using this for water or other beverages, plastic spouts are generally better than stainless steel, unless they are commercial grade stainless. I tested the quality of the spout by filling the jar with hot soapy water and leaving it pointed down into my sink overnight, and not one drop leaked. By the way, if you do get a leaky spout, usually hand tightening it will be sufficient. Just put one hand inside the jar to rotate the nut inside and use your other to hold the spout on the outside. Definitely always test jars like this before using, as you don't want all your liquid to end up on your floor. I would have preferred a plastic lid to the metal one that came with this jar, as metal will pretty much always rust over time, but I will be using cheesecloth with my kombucha anyway. The stand is a nice addition and very lightweight. Love the pretty blue color. Very cheerful.

Looks nice

This is a nice-looking drink dispenser, and it is easy to clean. I did not like the base because the jar does not sit in it as deep as I expected, and I think that it will be easily tipped over by children.

Easy to use and attractive water dispenser

This dispenser is great for everyday use or parties. When opened from the box, the top of the mason jar was very difficult to remove but since that time we have had no issues screwing on or off the lid. There are only a few parts, so it is very easy to clean. The blue is vibrant and attractive. The mason jar is constructed of sturdy glass. Just to be aware, the jar just sits on top of the metal base without being secured with anything, so when it is empty, exercise caution to not tip it over. This has not been an issue for us however, and we are comfortable using it every day.

Love it

I love this drink dispenser! It’s made well and once washed and cleaned I put it to use. The stand it comes with is made well and I see this last awhile. The spout works great and has a great flow. It’s not too fast or too slow. It’s a nice thick mason glass container and I’m very happy with it.

Great style but quality could be better

Good: -The base and spigot are a beautiful aqua blue color. -Good size for large events. -Easy to assemble the jar to the base. Bad: -The base quality could be better. I ordered the Gibson Home Chiara Blue 2 GL Mason Dispenser, Metal Lid & Base. I like the look and style of this drink dispenser. I like the imprinted design on the glass jar. It is simple to fill and use. I did not like that the paint on the lid includes areas of bare spots. Overall, the dispenser would be great for a spring outing, but the quality could definitely be better.
