Quality Disposable Razors

I'm pretty careful about the disposable razors that I use. I tend to have super sensitive skin and there's nothing worse than getting abrasions, redness, or worse from shaving. I've found only 3-4 brands of disposable razors for sensitive skin that I can consistently use, though I am really fairly pleased with these Gillette Sensor2 razors that have a water-activated lubrastrip to reduce the likelihood of skin irritation. I got these at a sale price. At regular price, they're a bit higher than I usually pay per razor, though I'm generally willing to pay a little more for a quality product. These are twin-blade razors - so they really are sort of designed as the entry-level disposable razor, though they are MUCH better than pretty much any generic brand I've used. The lubrastrip works nicely and I've not had issues with any abrasions, redness, or skin breakdown from using these razors. However, the shave itself isn't quite as close as I'd prefer and I typically am finding that by the end of the day the stubble looks a little rough. I prefer a closer shave than these offer. I have fine motor skill issues because I'm a paraplegic, however, I'm able to grip these fairly well. They don't really offer any flexibility, but the handle is at a good angle for me to get all the spots I need to reach. Overall, I'd have no problem using these razors again. I doubt they'll replace some of my favored razor options, however, I certainly would consider them again and I'm generally pleased with most Gillette options. Gillette does offer razors with a pivoting head for those who prefer that option. This is a quality disposable razor. I do find that it is ready for disposal after 1-2 uses at the most, but for those like myself who use disposable razors that is to be expected. For those seeking an affordable, more basic disposable razor this is a quality option from Gillette.

Disposable for a Reason

Disposable in that you should just open the pack and dump them in the garbage. I ended up using a old BIC Men's Sensitive Skin Razor (not sure if you can mention another product) that had been sitting on the shelf after many uses over two months. Might as well use a stick.

They shave my stubble. That's why I bought them.

They do the job well enough and the price is economical and that is why I buy them. I use a cordless hand razor to shave my face and then the razor is used to trim up any areas where the cordless can't get to very well, like under my nose or in my butt crack for some bush trimming down there.

Gillette Good News Razors Have a New Name

Took me a bit to figure out these are the old Good News razors, they looked the same, so I ordered them and saw they'd just for some unknown reason renamed them, but the Good News razors I've used for decades, and this is them under a new name. They are the best ones I've used. When they are new, I've never cut myself with them unless my hand slipped and it was my own fault, the few times I tried Bic ones, I've gotten cuts, so would never buy them again. These are the best disposable razors I've used and the only ones I will buy.

Good for shaving your head

I bought these for shaving my head because these shavers have fewer blades and do not clog as quickly as the multi-blade shavers. They only last a few shaves but they allow me to get the curves and dips of a cranium. The head does not pivot and it is an all in one shaver so once the blades become dull, the entire shaver is disposed of.

Wife bought these for me, but at the end ...

Wife bought these for me, but at the end of the day, her and my daughter use them for their legs. Bought them when they were discounted also, and come out a lot cheaper than anything you buy at even the big box stores. They don't clog up as some of those 4 or 5 blade units. Just make sure to rinse them properly after each use, and leave them to dry.. If you leave them at the edge of the tub, in a puddle of water, the lube strip will disintegrate by the time you want to use it again ;)
