It is NOT a soft close

It is very pretty but it is not a soft close. This is going to eventually cause it to fail.

Looks amazing, worked ok, broke within 2 years

I was a little too in love with this, considering it's a toilet seat. I LOVED the look of it. Made me happy every time I walked in my bathroom. This made it tolerable that the chrome fasteners would often loosen and that the washers began to wiggle, wear, and crack. After about 18 months of normal use by just one person, the seat cracked all the way through. Not really any way to repair this, and I am not sure I can justify spending another $60 for a toilet seat that might crack again. Good luck!
