Wish I'd had this Years Ago

When I’m not cooking in them, I use the crockpots instead of a humidifier. I live in an old apartment in a large home built in the early 1900’s, so central air is not going to happen here. I gave up on small humidifiers because I hated having to fight the mold and mildew in these appliances, one after another. Then I tried the sonic version. That’s when I first learned about pink bacteria. I went back to the old-fashioned method of boiling water on the stove. This apartment has a gas stove, though, and the bad air made me feel groggy and low energy. So I tried cutting down on the time I kept the flame turned on by supplementing the process with my stoneware crockpot. That was an improvement, but I still needed better air quality. I decided to try a second crockpot, eliminating the gas stove altogether. When I was scanning through the options on Amazon, I was drawn to the Earth friendly features of this GreenLife brand. I also liked the concept of the healthy ceramic nonstick easy-to-clean coating derived from sand and free of PFAS, PFOA, lead, and cadmium. A hard water deposit that requires regular scrubbing builds up on my stoneware crockpot. That nonstick coating sounded pretty good. The old crockpot and the new worked together beautifully to keep my humidity in the upper 30’s and low 40’s. That’s not as high as what a humidifier can accomplish, but it is enough to keep my skin and respiratory system comfortable. Within a week, the GreenLife had totally spoiled me. Enough with scrubbing hard water mineral deposits! I splurged on a second GreenLife and haven’t regretted it for a minute! After I checked out, in the other-product-display section, Amazon presented me with the photo and details of a GreenLife toaster oven. My old one had reached the end of its useful life. I was planning on replacing it the next month anyway. The picture was pink, like my two crockposts. I need say no more.

Product as advertised!

I am very pleased with the slow cooker. While shipping was fast the box was not taped and anyone could have opened the top and removed the item. A label was slapped on the box and out the door it went. That said, I needed touse the product the next day and everything worked as it should and the meal came out delicious. I set the timer on the product to start at noon as I had to leave my house at 10 that morning. I came home at 5 p.m. and everything was ready to serve! Cleanup was super easy. I have not tried the insert on the stove or in the oven yet. Overall, it was exactly as I anticipated and needed. Highly recommend.

Versatility? I dunno about that, but its REAL easy to clean

I saw Versatility as a "rating" and thought...it's a crock pot, not an instipot, not a pressure cooker, a crock pot. So it's about as versatile as..a..pot. It is a breeze to clean. Make sure you buy wood/bamboo or plastic utensils to use with it as that coating APPEARS thin and I would think a rip/scratch/gouge will cause all measure of grief quickly. Upside, it's aluminum to boot. It recommended, AMAZON, to buy liners. I figured WHY NOT...Do not need them. Rinse, wipe, clean, no liner bag necessary

Love it!

Used this today for the first time to make my Easter ham. It is super easy to use, especially for someone as technologically deficient as I am. Nice and light. I like that you can brown food it in on a stovetop, use it as a slow cooker and even finish it off in the oven-- all using the same pot. I would definitely recommend this product. Delivery time was on point as well.

The "crock" part it lighter and so easy to clean. It's versatility is a nice feature as it can be used on the stove top to brown meat, etc.

Love this one

You can cook big batches of food yet the format is not enormous on a counter. It's elongated a bit making the design very practical in my opinion. The options are excellent, just like the taste of my latest spag sauce that slowly cooked for 10 hours in that thing again. Great value for the price. I just love that little machine.

Voltage not suitable for UK - some reviewers said product exploded

Description did NOT say 'not suitable for UK voltage' (wrong plug). Tried to cancel minutes after ordering but seller did not allow any cancellations. Absolutely shocking.. Item arrived many weeks late on the wrong day.....read other UK reviews which said product exploded... Arrived packaged in box which had clearly been opened and repackaged several times with bits of different labels all over it, plus loads of sellotape which was very suspicious. What is Amazon doing about this?

Not compatible with UK sockets

Product doesn't mention it has a US plug. Nightmare trying to return. Requires extra copies of the returns info to be placed in plastic bags / outer clear envelopes (as going overseas). Wasn't told any of this when trying to return. If you're a busy person and / or don't have access to a range of returns options or can't get out easily then avoid buying this product.
