My new default/every-day/every-occasion favorite hair styling material!

LOVE THIS STUFF. I've tried billy jealousy ruckus, bumble and bumble sumotech, american crew, malin+goetz, baxter clay pomade, gatsby moving rubber, and more. This is the only hair product I like enough to write a review about it. Out of all the products I have tried, ruckus, sumotech, or malin+goetz would be the main contenders to be my favorites--if I have never discovered this product. Don't get me wrong, those products are excellent and I would definitely still think about using them depending on the occasion (especially special occasions)...but I always saw them as "going out" products or something I only really WANT to use if I have to maintain an appearance like putting on the most expensive suit in my closet (like going on a nice date, going on an interview, or maintaining a professional appearance at work)... Grooming Lounge Some Hair Cream is my new "go-to" product. It is easy to apply, keeps me looking proper at the workplace, and is so comfortable compared to the other products I've used that when I get home from work, the hair doesn't keep me thinking that I am still at work (though I may look sharp like it!). I work a lot and I like to feel relaxed at home, so sometimes I would lazily forgo the other hair products if it is my day off or something. This may lead me to look like a scrub sometimes if I am just having friends over or running errands. This is seriously the only product I personally see as an afterthought to just starting the day, whether it be a workday or a day I can just lounge around and not worry about appearances. I probably look exactly the same as I do when using the other products--but this is the only product that doesn't feel like a hassle to put on, and doesn't feel like I am also wearing a tuxedo or need a shower the moment I get home to wash "work" out of my hair. Plus...this is a lot cheaper than my other favorites. It is only $12 bucks. I am curious about whether or not this stuff actually conditions--they don't really explain how it works. But even if it didn't really condition--it styles, it doesn't feel heavy, doesn't feel greasy, doesn't flake--pretty sure I will use this product until scientists figure out how to make my hair sit just the way I want without even putting stuff in it. Note: If you are the kind of person that wants your hair to look shiny and have a sheen that lasts the entire workday--look elsewhere!

Clean Cut Excellence

I did a lot of research to finally find this product - it's excellent. My hair is a little curly and I like to give it some control. I used to use another alcohol based product that was drying it out. I spent a long time on the web finding this alternative, which works great. If you are like me you want to put something in your hair that doesn't have any chemical smell, unpleasant stickiness or turn your hair into a tortoise shell that you can't touch until you get home. In short you want to run your fingers through your hair from time to time and then adjust your silk tie without fear. Grooming Lounge Hair Cream is perfect. I put it on right after I towel dry my hair from the shower. Then while I’m shaving it’s drying. By the time I’m putting my tailored suit on - it’s done. Interestingly, it creates a bit of a crust that goes away when you adjust your hair once or twice - but your hair stays in place - nice! My hair is starting to turn grey - Grooming Lounge Hair Cream doesn’t affect the silver quality. Highly recommended.

Not Malin+Goetz

This is a great and affordable hair product. It has been performing well in holding my hair, which is very thick and "long" for mens hair. When I say "hold", it isn't sticking up but rather just staying is it's general spot; helping keep an overall relaxed style (which is what a cream should do). However, this doesn't seem like a real "cream" to me. It is more like an extremely light gel (and smells like gel too). It is even a little crackle upon first run through with your hand after it has dried. Thankfully, it still has some hold after the rigidity is worked out. Because it doesn't have a great smell (just a generic hair product scent), has some gel properties, but has a great price compared to most creams: 4/5 stars. If you want a stellar product regardless of price, try Malin+Goetz sage styling cream.

I dont use this anymore because my hair is longer/larger, but it worked great when I used it. It like held the style I wanted without feeling crunchy or sticky, and it doesnt flake. Also, wasnt crazy shiny like gel.
