Keeps you warm, but can leave an imprint
I use this headband during my morning ride to work. Its great because a chilly morning is so much more difficult to face knowing that by the time you get to your destination you'll have a headache and won't be able to feel your ears. With this I never have that problem. Its relatively comfortable when you have it positioned correctly and it doesn't hold much static so its not going to make you look like you just rolled out of bed the way a cheap polyester beenie might. The one feature I'm not sold on is the yellow sweat diverter band. It does divert sweat, but I've found that if I put it below my hairline (where its supposed to sit flush against your forehead) it leaves a VERY visible indentation after just a 15 minute ride that can last for upwards of an hour. Now if I was out for a long bike ride that just happens to be on a cold morning that might ok. Lets face it when you're wearing bike shorts, clip in shoes, and a bike jersey mainstream normal is no longer a priority, but when you get to work and have 10 minutes before a meeting you're supposed to present in...well its just not ideal. I still give four stars though because I've found that if I position the headband higher and put hair between the yellow strip and my head I don't get the line. This takes away the functionality of the strip and sweat may become an issue, but the headband still keeps me warm so I'll stick with it. Note: I do have a fairly large head so the indentation could be a consequence of the band just being tighter than intended. So if your head is more averaged size maybe that isn't an issue for you. TL:DR / Overview It keeps me warm Its doesn't hold a static charge like a cheap beenie The sweat strip leaves an indent on my forehead But its still usable and worthy of four stars

Tight for my big head
I wasn’t wearing it for cycling, I wanted a lightweight ear warmer for a Turkey Trot. I like the sweat channel, but this thing was way too tight on my head. It was too uncomfortable for me to wear, I guess I have an XL dome. I was disappointed I couldn’t use it

Halo + ear warmer = perfect
I ordered this as I managed to “organize” my other ear warmer wrap, figuring the Halo specific silicone, sweatband strip would be an added feature. So far Halo has managed to make something that works well with my decidedly large noggin and cold sensitive ears. As noted, I have cold sensitive ears. I can wear shorts in 30-40F weather (with and without leg warmers on the bike) and be hot, but even as low as the 50s and my ears suffer on the bike. So I tend to cover my ears when the temperatures start to drop. I have oodles of balaclavas and dunce caps (aka helmet liners), but most of the time (down to the 20s) they keep me too warm, and drenched with sweat on rides. But my ears, they must be protected. And my head is big, so most ear covering bands are either too tight and stretched thin over my ears, or impossible to even get on my head without causing headaches. Halo sweatbands seem to fit me without too much issue, although I do get headaches on occasion. I highly recommend them, especially because they come with an ingenious strip of silicone above the eyes, helping to prevent sweat from dripping into the eyes, which is a lifesaver for hot running riders like myself. Combined with the ear covering and this headband works perfectly in colder weather. Of note, but not an issue for me, is that my earlobes are often left partially exposed. It is not an issue, as my earlobes are not as sensitive as the ear canal, and generally stay warm from the escaping heat. Recommended.

Short for big head
Don't buy this if you think your head size is above average. It fits me well, quite comfortable too but it's too tight for my partner who has slightly bigger head.

If you have a big melon this thing stretches!!!
It fits very tight on a big head but stretches out. I wore it on a 90 minute bike ride and never noticed its tightness once I got going. In comparison I have had helmets adjusted to tight that would give me a headache. Just like the other halo headbands I own its comfy and keeps the sweat out of the eyes, but this one covers the ears very nicely and I have big ears. Prefect as it keeps my ears warm, but they don't get sweaty like when I tried to wear ear muffs while riding. Its identical to the other halo headbands with the obvious additional feature that it covers your ears.

Good for jogging
My wife loves this thing. I used one for year when jogging or just on cold days. My yellow Sweatseal band eventually fell off after many washings. When she puts it on over her hair, the band sometimes leaves a red line on her forehead after use, but I think it will stretch, and it really depends how much hair you have under it at the back of your head. We both love it and would buy it again. It seems a little bit expensive.

Keeps your ears warm enough...
When this arrived in the mail I just knew that I had purchased a dud. It was just too thin to help on cold winter days in the Midwest. I found that I was wrong. They are snug over the ears and provide just enough protection to keep my ears from getting too cold. Is it as good as a fat wool hat? No, but you can't run comfortably in a wool hat either. It's a tight fit with earphones on, which I like to wear when running. That's probably the only real downside. If you have in earphones for music and you're wearing this cover, you might not hear much street traffic which can be dangerous. Otherwise, they are cheap enough that you can buy them and toss them if they don't fit your needs.

Stays put!
Love this headband. Have had others that I have used for winter running and was always adjusting them. This fits snug and stays where it is supposed to. Highly recommend!

Fits extremely well. Have a 'larger than usual' head and this product has a great fit. The rubber sweat wick line and material make for an excellent experience on runs. Will definitely purchase and recommend the Halo band
