Price is Right
I love this thing! We bought it for making French press and pour over coffee and it's been great for that. Boils water in no time, super easy to use and to clean. I'm not too sure about the safety features rating - I have no kids and so my only safety concern here is me trying to make coffee after one too many fizzy lifting drinks, but I can see this being a hazard around a small child or my former irresponsible high school self. If we want to get real nitpicky, for pour over coffee you may prefer something with a more tapered spout. You can control the pour flow with practice, but I can see some folks preferring a kettle with a narrow spout instead of this. A more accurate temp control wouldn't hurt either, something where you could specify specific temperatures (this is just preset to different increments). Again, this is getting real granular and honestly I don't personally believe that the cost of kettles with these features outweigh the benefits, but if you're looking for areas of improvement these would be my only gripes.

Like it, except problem with lable
Like that it is stainless inside, heats fast, has temp control but not too fancy. Cord stored at bottom so is nice as we have a short distance from our outlet to the machine. I have had several kettles over the years and like this one a lot. My previous was hot to touch so didn't like that and wanted one that was safer and had the temp control for green tea. Don't like that the power sticker wore off after a month. Not visible at all right now. We can still tap it to turn on but it is not visible. I don't see anyone else had this issue in the reviews so not sure why ours did. It is still usable but shouldn't have happened in the first place.

Good looks wear off
Looks sleek, works great. But disappointed that the button etching has worn off with only 3 months of use. If limescale builds up, just boiling lemon juice and water and it'll wipe right off!

HB still the best bang for your buck!
I am a tea drinker so I was looking for one with temp control after my old one stopped working. I have always had great experiences with Hamilton Beach's small appliances so based on the temp controls, volume and name, I went with this model. The temp control is very intuitive and easy to use. The kettle itself is very lightweight making it easier to use when full. It looks attractive...modern and sleek design and takes up very little counter space. I also use this to start pasta with boiling water as my stove burners are useless to boil water so having a kettle that holds such a large amount is a real bonus for me. Very happy with this product and hope to enjoy it for many years as in my experience, HB is built to last.

Perfect so far!
This is my third Electric Kettle, so I know what I like and do not like in them and what to expect overall. I can't say there is anything about this kettle I don't like. Things I do like: 1) No plastic contact with water means No Smell! 2) Temperature control is fairly accurate 3) The large temperature numbers on the side of the pot allow me to see it across the room. 4) Beeps three times when reaches desired temperature letting me know when done if I am not in same room. 5) The lid button is on the handle, which I think I prefer over the ones on top of the lid itself. 6) The temperature controls are fairly easy to use. All kettles can vary, so it's just a matter of getting used to the one you have.

Obsessed!
I love this new addition to my kitchen! I use this for so many things! I boil water for my neti pot, I boil water for my coffee press, I boil water to clean my cast iron, and of course - tea!

Different temp settings for different tea
What you get if you don't want to use a tea kettle. Just make sure your stupid friend doesn't put it on your glass top range thinking that's what it is. Led lights should be a giveaway.
