So easy to clean
This indoor grill is great. East to use and very easy to clean. A bit heavy but that is because the grill itself is very heavy. You must turn your meat over to fully cook just like a regular grill. I like the fact that the smoke and heat coming from the grill itself is minimal. But it sure beats the name brand grill I was using before that cooked both sides of the meat at one time.

This product is great, it's small and very easy to use and clean. Great for small spaces, we love to make steaks, pork and chicken in this because everything is so juicy… Before this product we did not cook chicken because it was always dry and not flavor , now I enjoy making chicken because it’s juicy and a lot of flavor.. now I Can cook the steaks medium .. you can also make vegetables here. Everything comes apart so you can wash it easily and use it again. I've had it for over 6 months and it still works perfectly. One more thing, We have not noticed a price increase in energy bills either, which is fantastic.

The Best Countertop Grill
I live in an apartment and I am unable to have an actual charcoal or gas grill on premises. I wanted to grill my own food at times, so I decided to try this Electric Indoor Searing Grill out. I ordered this grill and assemble it which was a breeze, your only sitting the grill plate inside and the top door you just aligning the side and close it. Well, to my surprise it was the best thing ever for me. I grill a lot of salmon and chicken and asparagus on this grill and it is amazing. I use it just about everyday which, also does not take up a lot of counter space. The grill is easy to clean. I would spray the grill with cooking spray before use. It also has a catch try which is great because any oils or bits of seasoning that may fall off goes into that catch try. I am in love with this Electric Indoor Searing Grill. The temperature settings goes to searing which I do not use unless I'm making a steak or burger. It cooks perfectly and also has a window on top so your able to see your food while it's cooking. I will forever use this grill until it just completely stops working. This is my own personal review of the Electric Indoor Searing Grill.

Love it for thick steaks, the real test of an electic grill
I got my Hamilton Beach electric indoor searing grill with window today, and just cooked my first food on it. I chose a 1 1/2" to see how it worked. I was very impressed! I lined the drip pan with foil and added enough water to not evaporate while it cooked. It only took 10 mins to heat up, then in about 15 mins (turned it 4 times) it was a nice medium. This grill is a great size for an electric grill. The larger ones don't apply enough wattage (heat) per area of grill grate. They all put out 1200 watts or so, but the more concentrated that heat is the hotter it will get. So a smaller one like this should work best, which doesn't seem to make sense but that's physics :)

After years of using a George Foreman grill, I decided it was time for a change. There is no comparison. (Excuse the “not ready for the cookbook” photos, but I wanted you to see the juice, the color of the meat, the grilled veggies.) I thought this would take forever to heat up and to cook; it didn’t. I was pleasantly surprised. I did a lot of research and thinking about what I wanted. I am on a strict low carb diet, so I eat a lot of meat. What I knew I didn’t want was a 15 pound unit that: costs a bundle, uses lots more electricity, and doesn’t give me much more cooking surface area. So, I kept coming back to this unit. I could never have gotten these results with my old grill. The pink center, lack of shrinkage of the meat.... both amazing. I bought 2 steaks recently. I cooked one the other day on my George Foreman, and it was so charred on the outside, that is was difficult to eat (4 minutes got it to about medium.) I heated this grill to Sear (about 5 minutes... I thought it would be double that), put a slice of onion and mixed peppers on the grill with the steak. The book says 6 to 14 minutes for the steak. I left everything for 3 minutes, flipped the steak, rechecked the temp after 3 minutes, flipped it again, then let it cook for 1 and a half additional minutes. In the meantime, I moved the onion and peppers off the center of the grill to the side panel to keep them warm, but not burned. (The peppers were frozen when I put them on. The onion was still a bit crunchy when I ate it.) I cooked the steak to 145, then let it rest for 3 minutes on my plate. You can see the results. The meat was like butter, and incredibly juicy. It took only a few minutes longer than the George Foreman, pulls the same power as the GF, but, the difference in the meat is stunning. Not much smoke (only when heating it up... I oiled the grill since my marinade had no oil). The grill heated to 450 (but did not stay at that level which doesn’t really bother me, (I’m not sure it’s supposed to), and the results were so good that I am not going to worry about it.). This should be a great grill for fish....the cooking process is nuanced enough. I am looking forward to making salmon and chicken thighs later this week. Clean up? A breeze. I let it cool, wiped it with wet paper towels, then rinsed the grill off under warm running water. Set up? Took about 2 minutes. The lid popped in easily, and you just match the underside round holes on the right to the base, and you are off! (I washed the lid and grill in warm soapy water first.) One tip: it’s not sealed all the way around. I reached into the tray to grab a piece of pepper which had fallen through, and my finger connected with the hot grate. Watch your kids. The back part of the grill under the cover is open about a half inch, so careful there as well. I will update this review if I see anything different, but for now: a big 5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. Reasonably priced, easy to handle, doesn’t take up your whole kitchen, little smoke, and GREAT results. Enjoy!

I bought two of these
I bought one for my brother-in-law for Christmas last year and he raved about it so much that we ended up getting one and I'm so glad we did. It is so useful and Sears the meat so well but best part is that it cleans up so easily. If you're thinking about it get it!

Cooks evenly . Heats quickly to desired temp. Thought it was two sided but I didn't check thoroughly before purchase. Well constructed and easy to clean. With one side cooking element, food must be turned for complete cooking. The see through top is mostly cosmetic.

Great Indoor Grill!!
I really wanted a grill for indoor grilling in the winter months. I have had other brands in the past that worked pretty great however they cost significantly more. After a little research I saw this grill had some good reviews, so I decided to order one. I must say I’m very impressed by its performance, it’s searing capabilities is excellent. It cooks very efficiently and timely, I found by adding a little water to the drip tray prevents excess smoke. My only disappointment with this grill is there is no On/Off button and no sound indication to when it’s at optimal heat nor is there any sort of indication on the readiness of your food. But I guess I shouldn’t really complain for a grill that works well at such a good price point.

Love the Hamilton Beach Indoor Grill
I have been using this grill for a few months now. Both me and my son love grilling chicken and steak on it, they turn out absolutely perfectly, and the moisture is kept in and flavour is great. I really like this grill. It is really easy to clean, and I highly suggest you do it after you use it and not wait. Just take a Scrubby Daddy and in 5 min you are done.

The prize winner for grilling steak indoors
I love this counter top grill. This is definitely the product to buy if you intend to cook steak, chops or burgers indoors and hope to achieve a "close to outdoor BarBQ" result. With a dishwasher-safe closing lid you eliminate almost all cooking spatter and there's virtually no smoke (we use ours under an exhaust fan which is recommended for all counter top cooking). The one piece ribbed grill also cleans in the dishwasher and adds sear lines to your meat. The temperature control is quite accurate and provides for a nice searing effect. There's a full size drip tray that's easy to clean if you add a little water prior to grilling (even better with aluminum foil and water). The unit is surprisingly light and the simple to operate with only 4 components, removable lid, grill plate, drip tray and body. After purchasing and using several competitive models in the past I'm confident that this grill offers the most efficient use and is a great value for the cost.

Stellar product. Flawless after 4 1/2 years!
I have relied on this grill for indoor grilling during the winter and when in a pinch during a summer rainy day when the outdoor bbq isn’t ideal. I have used this grill hundreds of times at this point over 4 1/2 years and it cooks just like the first day I got it. The surface on the grill remains perfect. The temperature control perfect. A few pics of what it looks like today. A couple of tips other owners probably know. ALWAYS put water in the drip tray before grilling. This grill will cook almost completely smoke free that way. I find the bit of steam it adds also helps keep food moist. Always cook with lid down for best results. I always spray non stick spray on the grill when it’s already hot. Use scratch safe pads to clean however to make grill cleaning easiest after cooking with something like bbq sauce crank it up after meat is removed. Let it char and while still hot use a plastic spatula to scrape off everything. Then with a real wet paper towel and the grill hot give it a good wipe. When it cools you can wash as normal with a scratch safe sponge. Your grill will look great after years of use. Another tip, Bar keepers friend powder and a scotch brite pad will remove any baked on brown discolouring on the chrome lid with zero effort. This purchase will not disappoint. I never leave reviews after years of use but thought today after another great meal I should. Not surprised to see it has such a high rating from others.
