Perfect for my needs but be AWARE of sizing!

These are perfect for a crafts project that I'm working on, but I wanted to respond to several of the 1* & 2* ratings that I read: 1) YES - these cup hooks may be sized differently from what you were expecting - I got some from Home Depot that I THOUGHT were gonna be 1/2", only to find out that they were labeled as "3/4" & were actually an inch long! However, I don't get as angry about these things as some people do - I simply order a different size (smaller or larger), & then return the first ones @ my local HD store or thru Amazon Prime. No big deal to me, at least. 2) I think they hold just fine, but be aware that being only 1/2" long, with a 1/4" hook & a 1/4" screw - they're not meant to hold a LOT of weight! They should be fine for coffee cups, & for items that only weigh a couple of ounces. If you need them to hang pictures or other much-heavier items, then by all means order larger, stronger cup hooks! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for DIY (Do-It-Yourself), & crafts projects for holding light-weight items!!!

Christmas Light Hooks

I purchased the 100 pk of 5/8” hook. These are excellent hooks! I purchased these hook to put on the underside of our eve to hang our Christmas lights. 5/8” seems to be the perfect size. Yes, the first time install is time consuming. I recommend using a small pair of pliers, it will save your fingertips and make install go a bit faster. Happy to simplify a lifetime’s worth of putting up and taking down lights.

I saved a ton of money by ordering these in bulk from Amazon. They are perfect for the craft projects I am using them for.If you have any doubt about the quality of this product, throw it out the window. These are better grade than any you will find at a big box store unless you pay for the ones that cost $6.00 for a pack of four. Go ahead, bite the bullet and purchase these. You won't be disappointed.

Solid Brass, Never Rust

Rather expensive, but all the brass ones are. Should never rust - I'm using these to hang fall and Christmas lights on the house. A 5/8" cup hook is smaller than you might think - even for just supporting wires. 3/4" might have been a better choice for my application.

Measurements are way off

I can't imagine in what dimension did the cup hooks measure 1/2" None is my experience.
