Excellent

I bought it on sale for a CO ski trip. I usually wear Patagonia capilene base layers. I used the HH shirt almost exclusively and now use it as a base on the bike. Could wear multiple days without washing and no smell, so perfect when traveling light.

Not worth the price. I have a shirt from this company from 20 years ago and I still wear it, but this one is a disappointment. It is very think and material is cheap too.

To small and uncomfortable

Runs small I got a large and it was extremely tight to the point it was uncomfortable and I don’t wear it at all snowboarding. I’d recommend spending a little extra on something more comfortable as well.

Good base layer for the price; better base layers exist, but also cost more.

This is a solid shirt for the price. I like it. Helly has been making base layers for a long time and their products are good, however I think the fit is slightly large on this piece. I am 5'9", 175 lbs and ordered the large and if was a bit baggy for me for a base layer. I don't like the super tight fit of the Nike or UA compression clothing, but I don't like things droopy. This was more towards the droopy side. I would say the Craft Active Extreme is a better base layer and fits better, but costs almost twice as much. The material is softer on the Craft, but I think the wicking on the Helly is just as good - just a different fabric and feel (not as soft). Overall, good product. If money is no issue, perhaps look elsewhere but if you need a good base layer on a budget, this is a piece you will appreciate.

Feels good, nice quality, runs small

This is a pretty nice cool/dry type baselayer, especially for the price. It feels different than other shirts of this type that I've had (in a good way). These run very small so I'd recommend ordering at least one size up. For reference I'm 6'4, 225 and I typically wear an L or XL. With these I found even the XXL to be a bit small. The arm and body length were good but the neck and chest was just too tight, so I returned it. Aside from the fit I would have still given it 5 stars if it weren't for the ridged stripes along the arms. I'm not sure what, if any, purpose they server but I found them unnecessary and unsightly.

Great long lasting products

Helly Hansen makes an excellent product. I have a shirt that I have had for over 20 years and it is still in great shape and I wear it to bike and run 3-4 days per week from November-March. This updated version is not different. Very warm and wicks moisture really well. This are not thick shirts but are very warm if you are active.

Excellent quality & great fit - perfect base layer for the cooler months. Only flaw is that the weave of the fabric is relatively open and can snag and pull more easily than other similar tops.

Love this

I bought a couple of these for my skiing trip in December. They’re so comfortable and durable, I loved it so much that when I was in my accident I was begging them not to cut it off because I loved it so much - I’ll be buying a couple more, let’s put it that way! Perfect fit as well, not to big and not to small or tight.
