Nice heavy pans
These are nice heavy pans, lay completely flat on flat top stove, seem to cook evenly and heat up fairly fast. Only complaint is the no stick coating looks to be scratched up.. I only use plastic or wooden utensils, always hand wash and dry my pans. You can literally run your finger nail across the surface and scratch it. It is a light scratch I guess it more cosmetic looking and not actually a scratch in the coating. I have owned a lot of expensive brand name pots and pans over the years and these seem just as good. Thought I’d try a different brand for a change, I have a knife set by JA Henckels that I have had for years and that inspired me to buy these pans. Would definitely buy again.

Good Non-Stick Skillets
At one time anything that had the brand of Henkel was pretty much the best. The company built the house on exceptional knives of German steel made in Germany. Like many big companies diversification followed and in time that meant products that did not live up to the original Henkel branding. I've actually thrown away some cheap Chinese made Henkel cutlery as personal proof. These skillets, though not made in Germany, are quality. Are they the best? Not really, but they hit a great sweet-spot of quality, functionality, and affordability. Good, perhaps even very good, for the money. They are definitely solid enough in weight and build and the non-stick layer seems to be durable if used correctly. They clean so easily I do not need to put them in the dishwasher as they are easy to clean with water and then towel dry. I have better All-Clads but those are not non-stick so overall not the same. For the cost these are pretty good and I like getting the two most popular sizes in the deal.

Very well made, good shape, not any info about coating/safety!
These are quality nonstick pans, hefty, and do not warp. The handle is comfortable and the shape is excellent. They do not stick. However, there is no information about the composition of the nonstick coating! For a big name brand, that is a little odd. Their other line, Granitium, made in Italy has more information about the coating. These pans are made in China.

Nice set of frying pans
This is the first set of HENCKELS cookware that we have tried. I selected this set of frying pans because I didn't have a small sized frying pan and I missed having one. I don't really know what '3 clad layer' means, but we do like how these pans perform. They do require some oil or spray to be keep from sticking, but we generally use an oil or spray anyway for flavoring. They are both good sizes for what we want to use them for. It cooks evenly which is important. They are easy to clean. We handwash so just a little dish liquid, water and the soft side of sponge works fine. I'm not sure if the price point is a little high or if it is in a good range for this brand type. Overall, we like the product and are satisfied with the performance so far.

Great Pans
These pans are pretty great. They are a good quality that has a decent weight to them, but not too heavy to feel uncomfortable when lifting. The nonstick works pretty well. I still utilize oil when cooking which makes it really slick. They are easy to clean. The seem to cook pretty evenly with heat distribution. The handle is made of metal which does allow for some heat transfer, but it doesn't get too hot unless you grab it too close to the pan. The quality of these so far seem to live up to what I know of the brand and their reputation.

Is there a way to make it withstand more heat? Most of stoves should only go to level 4 heat. If you do these will go bad quickly.
