These these to turn sideways and separate making the spring go flying off and the two wooden pieces fall.

A bit flimsy

These clothes pins are made out of wood, but are not as strong as they should be. They can come apart if not handled with care.

I don’t have a clothesline - I just wanted to have some of these old wooden clothes pins for the nostalgia and to keep my chip bags closed.

A lot of them came broken or the ends were shredded. Didn’t like them and threw them in the garbage!

DO NOT BUY THESE

This is an update from my previous review. these were the worst purchase I made on Amazon to date. I thought I would upgrade from my dollar store clothes pins to these ones. Terribly disappointed right from second day of use. They have almost all fallen apart after 2+ uses. And it isn't from too much weight put on them, I can't even get them up to the clothesline to put them on the clothes without them falling apart. DO NOT BUY THESE. I wish I could give ZERO stars
