Great OEM part replacement filters!
Made just for my tabletop air purifier. They seem pricey (and they are, but that's how they continue to make money off the initial purchase), but it does work very well in keeping the air clean and the dust down, especially since it's placed near where the litter boxes are located for my four cats. I find that I usually have to remove the filter and vacuum the black pre-filter weekly, but that just means it is doing its job. I replace the entire filter monthly. I justify the price by the cost-per-day to operate and since I can see good results that help keep the litter dust from escaping to other parts of the house and collecting a fair amount of cat hair every week before I vacuum the pre-filter, it is worth it to me.

Very good product but needs replacing every month
I think it is because my Honeywell air purifier is so good (it's only a year old) but I go through a filter every month, unlike every 2-3 months with my old Honeywell air purifier that was about 20 years old and couldn't find exact fitting filters anymore. I live in a very old (over 100 years old) house, so the amount of dust is pretty high. Within a week, I start seeing the dust particles on the black filter, and within 2-3 weeks it seems full. By a month, the red light is coming on my machine, indicating the need to change the filter. The filter is quite filthy by that point. So yes, wonderful product. Does its job extremely well, but be sure to plan to buy a new filter every month!

The system is very effective, but the filters are very expensive.
A single one of these filters costs around $18, and if you have a unit like mine then you need 2 filters and it gets expensive quickly. The unit itself cost only $70. This whole concept is like the inkjet printers and color cartridges. The device isn't expensive but the filters are. That being said, it is very effective. I use this in my computer room with 3 computers, and various other electronics. I never really have to "dust". Dust does not gather like it used to. This really does a great job of capturing the dust and particulates. I wouldn't recommend buying a small unit unless it's going to be put in a small room, like a baby bedroom. A small unit will be overwhelmed very quickly. Follow the recommendations for that unit, in terms of room size it is designed for. Be ready to pay for these filters cause I have not been able to find cheaper alternatives; however, they work. This absolutely works and does a great job at it.

Worth it to pay a little more
Arrived a day earlier than expected. Always a plus!! I read a lot of reviews here and on another site about having to replace filters every month rather than every 3 months as the manufacturer suggests. Having to change filters more frequently means your air purifier is pulling a lot of funk out of the air. Not sure why this is a complaint! Means there's a lot of dirt, dust, pollen, pet dander, etc. in your air and that both the air purifier and filter are working! Having purchased off brand and name brand filters, 100% recommend these. The last cheap ones I purchased from another seller shot so much charcoal into the air there was black dust everywhere. In just a few days even my central ac unit's filter was black! New filter and everything cleaned up, black dust problem GONE.
