I think the fit is a bit off but they are very nice jeans

As a woman, all jeans fit differently, which is why being able to try pants on is so important for women! These pants are very nice- the color is dark but not too dark with a bit of pre fading on the thighs. I love that look personally. With this color, they can easily be dressed up or down. They feel great on, no poky seams or tags, very soft and comfortable. While they are skinny jeans, they are not SUPER skinny- as in they won't be tight on the lower legs/ankles for most people. They are advertised as low-rise however I found them to be more of a mid- to high-rise, which I prefer. I was happy with the rise to help hide the mom pouch. I'm normally a size 8 in jeans. I ordered the size 30 which roughly translates into a size 10. I found the waist to fit well however and again, was happy with the fit up top. The length was a bit long. I'm only 5'4" so this is not uncommon for me. When I can, I will order jeans in short or petite to get that shorter inseam. But these seem maybe just a bit longer than "normal" jeans, which caused bunching at the backs of the knees and ankles when wearing flat shoes. Were I to wear heals, this may not be an issue. On the whole, the quality and look of these jeans is on point for Hudsons. Unfortunately this particular fit just doesn't work great for me. For reference, I am approximately 5'4", 154lbs, a bit apple shaped (5 months postpartum) and I have a mom pouch as mentioned above. I ordered the size 30.

Beautiful jeans, but fit larger than expected

I ordered these one size too large because my pant size was not available. Normally, I find that name brand upscale designer jeans run small, so I figured they'd be either perfect or a tiny bit too big and that I'd be able to deal with it. I am a solid 29 in jeans and I ordered the 30, in the dark blue "requiem" color. Regardless of fit, the finish and quality are amazing. The denim is soft, supple, and has the right amount of give. The color is perfect. It felt luxurious to me. 5 stars there, no doubt! I can see the value of paying more money to get this quality. The fit though...yes, I ordered one size too large but these fit about 3 sizes too large. This tells me even my normal size would have fit kind of loose - maybe Hudson uses vanity sizing? They don't seem like they'd be low rise, more like mid, because I can't imagine size 30 would have such a long crotch area compared to a 29. The length seems like it would be just about perfect if these were low-to-mid rise (I'm 5'7" and these are listed as having a 30" inseam). But, unfortunately in the waist they're just too big for me to wear. There's a huge gap in the back of the waist even if I pull them down really low on my waist, and I can pull them completely down easily without undoing the fly. So the minus one star is not simply because they are too big, because obviously I ordered them knowingly that way, but because I'm fairly certain just one size smaller will still be too large in the waist and hips for me. So, you might want to try sizing down by one size. I really love the style and the quality.

Shut up and take my money...

Oh my goodness, I finally found the perfect pair of actual jeans that aren't jeggings!!! I am an apple shape with a very saggy belly, but these jeans manage to fit snugly without giving me a muffin top. They are super tight and supportive, yet still comfortable so that I can move easily and don't feel suffocated. They feel like denim, versus the mostly spandex feel of my favorite Old Navy pull-on jeggings. I love the deep indigo color of the "Requiem" option, and the whiskering is subtle and not obnoxious. These are not low-rise on my short waisted self, but hit right below my navel, and do not show any "crack" when I am bending or stooping (thankfully, as those days have passed for this middle-aged mom, lol). The pockets are tight but deep, and the length is below my ankle/ top of my foot. For size reference, I am 5 foot 7, weigh 165 pounds, have a short torso with a flat derriere and big stomach, and wear a US women's size 10 or 30 x 32 (medium leggings and pants at Old Navy and H&M). I ordered these jeans in a 30, and feel that the size is perfect (see my pics). I am super happy with these flattering, high quality jeans. They are no doubt going to be a staple in my wardrobe, and I would not hesitate to order another pair.

Check the size chart for waist, a tad long

I'm 5'8" and while these are okay for me, they are on the long side. That's unusual for pants to be longer than expected so if you are shorter you'll be annoyed at how long they are probably. Like a fool I thought a 30 would be a 30 inch waist but it isn't so definitely check the size chart. I probably could have ordered a 29 but I have a big booty and these fit well enough. My actual hip measurement (i.e. the largest measurement on my body) is a 41 and according to the size chart these shouldn't fit but they're fine. There is a little stretch to them but not so much that you feel like they are falling down at the end of the day so that's excellent.
