A great little fan!

We bought this fan for my home office which seconds as our guest room. We were replacing the builder grade fan that came with the house that had broken. I love the look of the fan with the frosted glass and the option to have light wood grain blades or white blades. My husband and I installed it together in an hour or so. Neither of us are electricians but it was super easy to install. The fan we were replacing had the light and fan tied to one wall switch. When installing this fan, we decided to separate the light and fan to two different wall switches. That was also easy to do and is now much more convenient. We didn’t purchase the fan with a remote so I can’t say anything about how well that works. Over all the fan is quiet. It didn’t make any annoying noises when it’s on. When it’s on the low or medium settings, it doesn’t make any wind noise. But on high it is a little loud due to the amount of air it moves. The only negative I could possibly say about this fan is that the difference in the amount of air moved between the three fan speeds. There isn’t much difference between low and medium. But there’s a big difference between medium and high! High is great when it’s hot but it’s also a bit loud because of how fast the blades move and the amount of air it pushes. I tend to leave the fan on the medium speed because low is too low during the warmer months. Although low is great for a light breeze during the cooler months and when sleeping. Outside of my personal preferences regarding the fan speeds, I would recommend this fan. It’s a great fan for a great price. It looks great and works really well.

Great airflow on the high speed

I purchased and installed my 44" Hunter Donegan Ceiling Fan a couple weeks ago. Electrician took approx. 2 hours to install with no major issues. So far the fan is working perfectly. Not noisy at all. Airflow on high speed is great, works well circulating the air, the 2nd speed setting gives adequate air and extremely quiet. Fan looks nice, can use either side of the blades. Loves the lighting although due to the downward placement of the shades, the light spots more to the center of the room. My old fan (not hunter) lasted many years, so am looking forward to years of good airflow with this hunter fan as well. I recommend buying this fan. No remote control. Pull chain only.

Smaller blades than expected.

Tough to gauge how large something is from pictures, but the blades on this fan are rather narrow. It's plenty large enough to move the air in the room we put it in, but I was definitely expecting bigger. It's VERY quiet, even at high speed. Compared to the twenty year old fan we had, this is practically silent. The frosted globes are also really stylish. Plenty of light for the bedroom. We had a bit of difficulty installing this one, though. It's pretty heavy and had some fiddly parts. Tough to get just the right angle to tighten things up. Overall, I'm happy. Putting it up there...Man...That was a chore.

High Quality Fan

I bought this fan for someone else and just recently saw it after installation. This fan looks like a high end, classy looking fan. It is very quiet, and the lights are perfect for her dining room. She likes that the chains are marked with a light bulb & a fan to indicate which chain to pull.

Great Fan/Light Fixture

1 hour install. Straight forward instructions and parts bagged nicely. Quiet operation and light fixture is not overly bright. Used short down rod that was included instead of longer down rod that was pre-installed. Easy swap out. My wife is ecstatic as I installed in the kitchen after replacing our ceiling. Now doing the dishes is a lot more comfortable. Great product. If there are any issues, I’ll post an update.

Classy little fan

I bought this for a small bedroom. It’s quiet and nicely designed. Took this Gram about 45 minutes to instal from taking the light fixture down to finished installation. Looks good.

Produit de basse qualité

Une des vis des pales était mal vissée par la manufacture. Très difficile à enlever. La vis avait le pas de vis faussé. Les 3 trous de vis du luminaire n'étaient pas proprement taraudés. J'ai du entrer et sortir les vis plusieurs fois avant de parvenir à visser correctement le luminaire après le ventilateur. Je crois que la compagnie Hunter ne connait pas le mot QUALITÉ. Ce produit est de très basse qualité. Je ne recommande pas aux clients d'acheter ce produit. Il est près de $300 canadien mais ne vaut certainement pas cela.
