I love this thing!
It doesn’t take long to blow dry my hair at all. I have mixed curly hair (not sure of my specific hair type but definitely kinky) and what used to take me like an hour now only takes me 20-30mins. I love it! I haven’t tested it but I also think it gets my hair flatter than my other blow dryer. I think this would be great for most of not all hair types and is a definite time saver.

I’ve been using these types of hair dryers since I was a kid. Unfortunately I inherited my dad‘s frizzy hair. He always used these dryers and they are great to kick off the straightening process.

Very happy with it!
I have a 'hatchet' dryer that is about 15 years old, could no longer find the comb attachments so I bought this to replace it. I like it very much, it's not heavy, fits nicely into my hand & the combs attach really well. Great little dryer!

Loud but good
My first impression of this hair dryer was that it has a bad quality, too light and looked like a toy. However, it did such a great job! I don’t spend much time drying my hair anymore! I like all the attachments that come with it. My only issue is that it’s extremely loud. I would recommend if you have a good ear protector or don’t care about the noise.

Very little breakage after using this hair dryer!
With a regular comb, I normally lose 5-10 strands every time I brush, with this blowdry comb (0-1 strand lost). This has reduced my breakage tremendously, so much so that I use the combs that came with the set as a regular comb now vs my old brush. Its a bit heavy to hold for me because I have long hair, but its totally worth it for how healthy your hair will be! I love the multiple adjustable settings also!

Does what I need it to do
This blow dryer is just what I need. The only con I have is the vent part is open on top. It drys good an has good heat also. Attachments stay in place. I am a black woman with all natural hair. Been natural 13 yrs now

Stick with the original
This edition is much great because it has a lock function that prevents the attachments from slipping off. However, it is quite a bit heavier, the bristles on the brush attachment fell out, and still does not have a retractable cord not a loop for hanging out storing. I'm returning and sticking with the original Conair side vent.

Great for (melanated) thicker hair types!
This product is perfect for my melanin peeps. I blow dried my hair so fast. My hair isn't super long but it is thick. I part it into 4 sections and I was done so fast I'm gonna say it was like 20 mins max, maybe 30 because I wanted to be pretty straight; nothing like I remember as a child. We used to have a similar style blow dryer when I was younger and I remember blow drying being traumatic lol I am very happy with this purchase.

Wonderful hair dryer
I’m in love with this hair dryer I do not find it too heavy and it is so easy to use. My hair is thick and wavy and close to waist length and I have no trouble using this. It gives me a natural straight look and takes me less then 10 minutes to dry my hair when it’s completely wet from the shower. The attachments stay put and they never fall off. The comb attachments slide through my hair nicely. I was confused by other reviewers saying the combs poked them in the head….either their hair is so thin they shouldn’t use a blow dryer with attachments or their knowledge of how to use a comb is limited. Really not sure… but anyways I find it wonderful.

Loud!
The media could not be loaded. 2nd review- It does its job but it is dangerous. I didn't know it was a copy. The appearance is so similar, but the main thing is that the material started melting over time, I didn't notice until the other day. I bought the same but the real one at Walmart, the dryer is good I had it before but this was first time I've bought through Amazon. Definitely don't recommend, you can find it in Walmart. Now it make sense how loud it was, probably it never got inspected for quality control on the noise it makes. 1st review- I like that it dry my hair quick, but damn this thing is loud! I hope I didn't buy a dryer about to break cause im really surprised in how loud it is in comparison to the other ones I've had before. It does the job, but I will need to get ear plug-ins.

Great for curly hair...
I had the older style...brush ALWAYS fell off. This one is nice and firm. Straightened my curly hair perfectly. First time I used it one of the little chunks of bristle fell out of the brush attachment. I figured maybe don’t clean your hair out when it’s still really hot or do it carefully. Nothing fell out since then. That’s the only con...otherwise it’s great!! Very happy with this product.

Meh
This didn’t straight my hair at all - this made it a big frizzy head of hair. It adds volume and dries but the combs are hard and hurt your scalp. Will I ever use it again? Doubtful. But since it’s been through my hair I don’t feel it’s an item to return. If you want lots of volume then it’s fine but if you want straight (and you have curly hair) don’t bother. You’ll need a real straightener to get the job done.
