Very nice angle viewer

It is made of glass, it has a nice view angle so you can see a lot of the area and is very clear to look through. Inside it did have a small dot size glass fracture, I bet is because they are shipped w/out cases, just in a transparent bag, so do not expect instructions nor info. I think it was 9/16 for the hole, can't remember for sure, look at the model on the manufacturer site, it has installation instructions for it.

Well made and great viewing angle but doesn't come packaged with any manufacturer identifier nor any instructions such as a one-page sheet with positioning and installation tips.

Does the job!

I had my doubts about this product, but after finding the correct drill size, it was easy to install, and my tenants were very pleased. It would have been nice it the drill size was mentioned in the ad, instead of my having to search the web for it (9/16").

Nice viewing thing

Great for the price, very easy to install, the only thing I could say bad about it is if there's a bright light or sun hitting it the optics have a rather large lens flare around it, obscuring some of the view, other than that it's perfect!

Excellent Clarity and Viewing Angle

A beautiful upgrade over the stock viewer than came with the door! The view is extremely clear, and in my door I can actually see if there's a package resting against the door (for when I'm too lazy to just open the door and check! ;) As always, if you have a peephole, measure first and check the answers to the questions before ordering, but if you don't have one, it's an excellent, inexpensive way of increasing the visibility of your home. I should note, it's "one-way" in that you can't look back through, but it's possible to see light coming back through and it doesn't have a cover to keep it dark all the time, so it's possible for someone to tell if you've approached the door or not.

No instructions

Did not come with any instructions. Would have been helpful to know what size hole to drill. Plus, any helpful hints on the best way to install the door viewer.

Works as per description. It was such an easy install. Al it took was a 9/16 size drill bit to make a hole in the wood door.
