Pretty cute gift
This was gifted to a 9.5 year old girl. She loved it. Lots of simple science projects and the test tubes are a hit for mixing colors. The safety glasses are a joke though. They are just for dress up, but very flimsy... A total waste of plastic. If your kid mixes other random things in it, you'll need a good straw cleaning brush for the thin test tubes. But I really like this a lot. Mine certainly loves playing with it.

Fine product - TERRIBLE SHIPPING
This was purchased as a birthday gift for my daughter who turns 8 in a few weeks. It arrived today and seems cute enough. However, I was very displeased to find it UNBOXED, UNWRAPPED at our doorstep while walking my children home from school. My daughter was rather pleased, though. You'd think with Christmas approaching, items such as these would be concealed... I'd hate to give this product a negative review because of shipping, but I do think consumers should be aware and on the lookout if you're purchasing this as a gift for your child.

Its a cute little set with a great booklet to record the results of the science experiments. I ordered the item as a Christmas gift for my daughter and if it weren't for me heading to the car first to clean it out she would have found the unwrapped box sitting on the front porch. Its not a huge deal, better not to waste extra cardboard, just bringing this up as a warning to other ordering it as a present.

The goggles aren’t useful. You can’t really look through them. Otherwise, it’s a great kit.

Multiple resources for experiments but still contains the right tools and are very fun
We had all of the supplies for the ones we tried and they were very successful. I plan on making many more. I like how it interacts with the experiment as you are doing it. They are an excellent use of time.

I searched high and low for a quality 'science set' as my 5 year old requested. Everything I looked at was terribly cheap or on the other end of the spectrum glass. Which I also did not want! This works out perfect. I guess it is geared for girls but he didn't know that. You can't tell with it out of the box since it's blue and purple. We immediately did a couple of experiments in the little book. He loves it and I know it will last for a long time!

There are a couple solid experiments and a good set of text tubes, a stand, goggles...It's nothing mind blowing but I got use out of it and my 6 year got some science time.

My kids love this kit
This chemistry kit is fun for kids. My kids have done tons of different experiments, and have spent hours trying out different things. The only issue is that the test tubes don't come with a cleaner brush, and they are sometimes hard to clean out. All that said, this is a fun kit for your family to have.

Excellent home science experiment - kids play without even realizing they are learning.
My 11 year old daughter loves to play scientist and do experiments. She plays with this in the kitchen, making a mess and learning by trial and error. She has stopped eating wonder bread because of the mold experiment and the fact that it didn't mold easily. Loved the volcanoes and always looking for more. The goggles and gloves are perfect for safety and feeling very professional.

Great book! So so lab kit.
I bought this for my daughter. I opened it up and was unimpressed with the "lab" equipment .....but i bought this kit for the book...yeah i could find these experiments online for free but I wanted something my daughter could do by herself since she likes to do things without help.
