Easy replacement
Couldn’t find one local. This one was a perfect fit, came right to the door and we didn’t have to use any car gas to get it.

Could have went to the John Deere stealership and bought one for 3-4 times the price. Some things I do buy from JD. I buy belts and some other things that actually do out last the generic brands. I do it because it's worth the extra money to not have to change themm again anytime soon. An air filter is right on top and it came with the ring you oild and wrap around the filter. I baby my old John Deere as there is no other brand that comes close to the older model's longivity. The new ones are MTD with different paint and decals. They are made to last a few summers then replace. I have a friend who still mows 2/3 acres witht the one his father bought in 1963. Try that with todays all brands made by the same maker. I would and probably will buy this product again. WEll worth the S. On time and exactly what it says.

Fit perfectly in my old 1993 John Deere LX172 at a very good price.

Can't separate foam from paper for washing.
Overall I am very satisfied with the product. I would have preferred if the foam could be separated from the paper portion of the dual-element air filter so that the foam could be washed periodically but at Amazon's prices, I don't mind buying a whole new air filter each year. Super convenient finding parts at Amazon. I rarely go searching through my owner's manuals anymore.

OEM Quality for Less
Used this in my FC540V to replace an old filter, and it fit perfectly. Paper and the prefilter felt exactly like my OEM. Seems like OEM quality, and my engine ran fine after replacing it. Its been in for a few weeks now without trouble. I'd buy it again, especially since its cheaper than JD parts.

This is the real deal filter for your Kawasaki carb at a great price. This is on my John Deere Lawn tractor.

Perfect fit, ready to install.
Fits my Kawasaki 14hp engine perfectly. Came with the prefilter already installed. It was just a matter of removing the old and installing the new. This filter is a great value over what you would pay for OEM at the dealer.
