Haven't found anything better...but has some issues

I bought these to wear kayaking on lakes and rivers. I wanted something that would stay on my foot if I had to portage, fell out, or wanted to explore a bit. My Tevas allowed too many large pebbles and big grains of sand to get under my feet which really hurt (I also stubbed my toes a fair few times). While these don't keep out the finer grains of sand, those don't hurt under my feet. I also wanted to protect my toes, especially at the river, with larger rocks around the put in and take out locations. Stubbed toes HURT! lol I have 2 reasons for not giving them a 5-star rating. The first is that there is very little arch support. When I have to park far away from the take out point, my arches are sore and tired by the time I get to my vehicle with little to no support. Thankfully, this doesn't happen often. The second reason is that every time I take my foot out, the sole of the shoe comes with my foot. It's annoying, but certainly not a deal breaker. As I'm not generally planning on hiking in these, the arch support would be welcome for those walks to the vehicle...but as I've found nothing better, these are keepers. I slosh around in the river and the lakes and I don't worry about these coming off or letting larger pebbles and sand inside. Oh, these also aren't the fastest drying, but again, that's currently a minor concern for me. Once I start kayak camping and need to put them on every morning, I might change my mind about that. LOL The fit is perfect. I bought the same size I'd use with a casual fashion sneaker (I use Taos Plim Souls). My feet don't slip around inside, and my toes don't jam into the toe box. I don't really have room to wear a neoprene sock in colder weather, but I didn't buy them for that purpose...just thought it would be an added benefit if I could. I'd have to go up a 1/2 size and then they'd be too big without socks. Overall, I'm very happy with these and have recommended them to several of my kayaking friends.

Great Shoe!

This shoe is so comfortable!!! Fits great. Took them out of the box, put them on without socks, wore them all day shopping with absolutely no pain. Would love to have other colors in this same style!

I love this shoe!

This is a great water shoe for kayaking. They drain fast and they have a snug fit. I don't have to worry about losing the shoe when my foot sinks into the mud. The cushioned sole is very comfortable and I think they look great.

This shoes fits to size & it’s very comfortable. I love the style. This is the second pair I have purchased, but in a different color.
