Winner, Rubber Toddler Rain Boots!

I looked at several toddler rain boots from Amazon, and these are the lightest rubber pair I found. Crocs boots are lighter by far, but a different material. Also, for the size number that I ordered across all the boots, this pair was sized the best, offering just enough toe space for some foot growth without becoming a tripping hazard. The toe box is round and wide, whereas other boots had almond or narrower toe boxes. These have a thinner sole than the other boots I looked at, too -- and I don't think it's too thin, it's just that the other boots had much heavier, lug-like soles. The Kamik rain boots are made from an easily flexible rubber, the shaft just wide enough for my toddler, and not too tall for her. She wears a size 9 at just 33.5" tall, and 21 months, which is to say that she has a larger foot than most children her age and height. So the perfect boot shaft height was very important. In the Hatley and Western Chief boots, the shaft was just too tall for her. After this boot, the Lone Cone would've been a good runner-up, but it too was a bit heavier, taller and bulkier than the Kamik.

Perfect Fit for 3yr Old

We had a pair of smaller rubber boots that my toddler son fell in love with, but he outgrew. We found these and tried them out, and it's now a battle getting him to take them off at the end of the day. He simply loves wearing them for everything, even in the summer, for every occasion. They've held up well to the abuse of a 3yr old, and they're not so bold that clash with everything. We'd prefer if they were a bit more classy is that they could be worn with an outfit and look like regular boots instead of rain boots (like the ones we replaced), but these will have to do. They were the best ones we could find that were the most versatile as far as look goes, so that's why we chose them, and we haven't been disappointed. Too heavy and clunky for 1.5 YO

These are very well made, but despite reviews, I found these very heavy! For context, I bought them for my 1.5 yr old who is walking great. These not only ran big, but were clunky and heavy for her. The base is solid rubber, great but also heavy. So, for a 3-6 year old with bigger feet and muscles, they’d be great. They just don’t work for my little ones needs. Hope this helps another momma out there.

Adorable boots for little feet

I could be a Kamick spokesperson. We LOVE these boots and all 6 of our family members have these. Our youngest is very petite and this is one of the only rain boot brands that had a size 3. They are so cute and so functional. She’s 20lbs, 2 years old and able to get around in them great.

Easy to put on!

Great boots. Super easy to put on. Really like the pull up assist on the back of the boot instead of the usual ones on the side that always end up breaking. Wish they were a little taller. However my son hasn’t managed o get into any puddles taller then the boots so far and his feet have stayed dry.

Functional and Adorable

These are awesome boots! We had a hard time finding boots that would actually fit our toddler as many were loose and would cause him to trip. These fit tighter on the foot and don't slip like some of the others. Our son loves to wear them and usually we have to beg him to take them off.

Even cuter in person

I searched multiple sites to find rainboots small enough for my petite 21 month old. I settled on these ones since Kamik is a solid brand and available in a 4 (smallest I could find without a soft sole.). They look boring in the pic. But, in person they are super cute. I would definitely recommend!

Not for chunky calves

My toddler has chunky calves and they seem a bit tight, more so than regular rain boots. other than that they are wonderful. very flexible for walking.

Muy buenas botas, se ven muy resistentes, para uso constante y son totalmente impermeables (mi hijo se metió con ellas a una fuente y los pies estaban totalmente secos). No son muy largas, pero tampoco son botines, por lo que cubren lo suficiente. Me gustó mucho que la suela tenga bastante relieve, lo que evita resbalones en pisos húmedos o lododos. Como referencia pedí la talla 16MX que es la 10 US. Totalmente recomendables.

Hat mich nicht überzeugt

Die Stiefel fallen von der Größe her knapp aus, sie scheinen angenehm beim Laufen zu sein da sie eine weiche Sohle haben. Leider ist der Schaft sehr eng damit ist das anziehen doch sehr mühsam auch wenn das Kind brav mithilft, durch den schmalen Schafft sind sie nichts für Zwerge die nicht gerade wircklich gertenschlanke Beinchen haben.

Für breitere Füße bestens geeignet

Sehr schöne Gummistiefel - für Kinder geeignet, die breite und dicke Füße haben ( Weite W ). Ich war schon fast verzweifelt, da ich keine passenden Gummistiefel für meinen Sohn finden konnte, da alle Gummistiefel zu eng sind. Die Größe fällt normal aus Gr. 27( 16,9cm ). Die Schuhe sind sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und riechen überhaupt nicht nach Gummi!

Sehr guter Gummistiefel für Kinder

Es war nicht leicht einen Gummistiefel in Größe 26 zu finden und dann noch ohne lästiges Zugband. Bei Kindern mit etwas strammeren Waden stört dieses Zugband, da es meistens zu eng sitzt. Die Stiefel sind meiner Meinung nach passgenau und sehen gut aus. Toll auch die Reflektoren. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
