Cool Shoes

I really love these and I wear them almost every day. I’m writing this review after having the shoes for almost a year. The inside material of the heal is coming off and I’ve had some of the foam of the heal fall out. It doesn’t really bother me because I do wear them all the time (I walk for a commute and average 115 miles of walking a month) but they do give me blisters.

Look like a hiker!

I got these hoping to place by Keen Austins, but sadly, they are a bust. Shoe looks great, but has very little traction. The long tongue is noticeable, and one of the reasons it has such great eye appeal. That said, it’s very thin and folds over easily, making shoe difficult to slip on quickly without rubbing against the top of the foot. I would not buy again.

Good comfort. Keep your feet warm.

I have had several pairs of Keen Austins and consider that model a gold standard for comfort and functionality. These Jaspers come close to that standard. For me I found the fit to be slightly small in their length but not to the point in which I needed to return them. One of the most notable aspects of these is that they are warm when wearing. There are no ventilation holes at all and I wouldn't consider wearing them in summer. They are great for cool weather activities like fall yard work or casual hiking.

Soo comfy!

These have become my non-workday daily driver. They are super comfy (as all Keen products are), and look amazing. I love the contrasting shoelaces against the tan leather. Great for walking, light hiking, or just walking through the Mall. Great shoes!

I have a wonky ankle. The shoes comfort my foot from toe box to arch support, to heel stability.

Always looking for comfortable, multi purpose shoes. I find these shoes to be appropriate to go out for dinner, on trails (3 dogs to walk each day and we go off-roading) and the gym.

Really nice comfy shows. Finish is great. They do run slightly small, so watch out for that.

Quality is back

In the past all I'd wear were Keen shoes for approximately a decade. I'd always wear out a pair completely meaning the sole of the shoe was all but gone. So I'd order another pair of Keens, until I had two pair of the exact same shoe fall apart and just generally bad construction so I walked away from Keen. I decided to give them a chance as I'd heard they had fixed their quality control issues. I ordered these in my regular 10.5 as that is the size I always wore in the Keen shoes. I actually needed a size 11 in this shoe so it' seems Keen has changed something. I really like these shoes comfortable and well put together.

NOT your typical Keen's sizing

I don't know for how long I am an exclusively wear Keen shoes. I'd say around 20. All my shoes, mean casual, hiking, sandals and winter boots. They fit my feet perfectly. All of those, since the beginning were size 44.5/11 and never never been other than that. When I received those Jasper it was a shock. Even my toes were on their knees... First reaction, they sent me wrong size and look at the box. No, that is right, then in the shoes, that is right either.. Since one size up weren't available, I've made an exchange for the half size. Even those were way too small and I even doubts the 12 would have fitted right. What happen with those, don't know. I even asked myself if they were a copy... One thing is sure, they fit pretty small.

A bit unique wearing style

It is a bit unique than I expected. This is my first time wearing this kind of shoe. It is very fashionable and comfortable to wear. But it requires me to use to toe to engage. It is fine of flat land but when it is downhill, my toe, namely my thumb toe, hurts or are pressured.

What to say about Keen Jasper? Basically the most comfortable shoes I have ever had! I have quite wide feet compared to length and the design of these accommodates them well. They are also very flat ( with sufficient arch support) which means they feel like you are walking on your soles - it’s almost like you can grip the floor with your toes - I know that sounds weird but it’s how they feel! I would definitely recommend if you like the rock climbing look and you want to feel comfortable! One thing is that you don’t need to pay more than £60 - wait and the price will come down - the price fluctuates significantly !

To wear
