Shower curtain rod

Curtain rod falls from wall easier because I can't hang as many damp shirts on it like the one before.

Highly recommend!

I've been looking for a rod for a long time. I knew that sooner or later Amazon would have one in my price range. This is a well made rod that's very easy to install. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Falls off easily

Nice rod. But does not stay up well. It fell down twice with nothing on it and a 3rd time with only a few plastic hangers. I had to put heavy duty velcro on each end to keep it up. Seems to be staying up now.

A mystery solved

I had bought this one to replace the same exact model that I have used above my washer/dryer for 18 years. (The old one would have lasted longer if I had not draped damp clothing over it, which after 18 years, had cracked the plastic coating on the rod.) When I received my new one, I removed the old one and tried hanging the new rod in the same place where the other one had hung. It would not stay in place! I was perplexed! What the heck? I almost returned it to Amazon. Then I noticed something: the rubber caps on the ends of the new rod were DIFFERENT from the rubber caps of the old one. The old one had caps that were wider in diameter and made of different rubber. So I removed the old caps and put them on the new rod. Presto! It hung without a problem. I noted all the mixed reviews on this item. Now I understand why some are happy with their purchase, and some were disappointed because the rod did not hold up. It is all due to the end caps and how they are made.

Wish they included some instructions.

I did not know how to work the rod, but after some attempts to figure it out I did install the rod and it looks good and is sturdy ( so far) But some simple instructions how to tighten it would be great.
