One piece split in two
Although it is reasonable that this item came in two pieces I found myself having a lot of difficulty using it. Part of one pole was bent out of shake, making it difficult for any of the parts to fit onto the end. I wasn't sure of these were supposed to go into each other but I could just barely make it fit by removing all of the stoppers that were on the end. I managed to just barely join them into one long bar, only for them to eventually break off the wall and fall because the wind blew a little too hard one day. I am disappointed. And it came later then its estimated time as well, but I'm not sure if that is his company's fault or Amazon's fault.

Rod
What a piece of cheap garbage. It says made in the USA with imported parts. But hey it was cheap, so you get what you paid for. Let's hope it holds up the curtain that is supposed to hang off of it. I would have bought something better, but I need the money for gas.

Cheaply made
Looks cute but this is very cheap! The heart ends are plastic n the one on mine falls out easily.. and these pictures show the lack of care put into the work.. sloppy job

Nice for the price
Works to hold up curtains if they aren't too heavy. The curtain rod itself is not telescoping. Was missing screws from the packaging. Looks good though.

Cute design but a little cheap
The adorable finials are unfortunately cheap plastic, and ours came with one end crimped half closed. Fortunately we were able to pry it back open and still use them. They come with all the hardware you need, just don't try to hang heavy lined blackout curtains on it.

For the price...and excellent value.
I was looking for a very cheap rod to use in a recessed window with no clearance at the top or sides. This fit the bill perfectly. It's on the cheaper side...but I have to say it's pretty sturdy...and I like they way they go together for a long window (I used this on a 96" window). The side brackets are very cheap and bend easily...however,, that worked out perfect for me since the recessed alcove only has 1 inch on each side to put the bracket..so I was able to bend it to install...yet, it still feels sturdy enough to hold them up. For those of you wondering...the end caps are plastic. Due to the space I was installing...I wasn't able to use them anyways. There are not high end. These rods are perfect for a bedroom. Not sure I'd use them in a livingroom or on a window or patio door that gets a lot of use unless you used different brackets.

Perfect for the money, exactly what I expected. Might need a quick fix...
This curtain rod is exactly what I expected to get for the $9.99 I paid for it. The Rod itself is a metal but the ends are plastic, which is fine by me. I was able to hang four panels that are 42x95 Black out curtains on them, which are heavier then just hanging sheer curtains. They held perfectly! (As you know with every curtain rod you have to hang the middle holder when it's a bigger window...) I did use different screws and anchors - only because I always do. The holders are nice and so far are holding very well. The anchors and screws they give you look good - I just have walls that had previous damage so I'm trying to cut down on having to patch more. *Quick fix that might be needed: The ends don't stay on (as you can see in other reviews). The quick fix? Take some black electrical tape (or other tape I suppose) and wrap it around the inside piece that goes into the rod. This will thicken it up and it stays in after you hang it. For the price that these are, I was able to get my entire house hung with curtains without breaking the bank, and these match my iron canopy frame perfectly (even if they are plastic, from that height you can't even tell).

Fabulous rod for a very inexpensive price
I was somewhat skeptical purchasing this rod for my dining room after reading the other reviews; however, I planned on hanging sheers, so did not need a heavy duty rod. I was pleasantly surprised! The rod itself is quite sturdy and I would feel comfortable hanging regular drapes or heavier curtain from it. I have had no problems keeping the end caps attached to the rod and if they were to come loose, the rod is easily pinched to hold the end pieces better. Yes, it is NOT a solid metal rod - it is split metal, but is of a good thickness to easily hold 84" curtains. My only "con" are the three mounting brackets appear to be rather flimsy and aren't very sturdy. With that said, there are three and I only needed two for my 54" window span. There is no droop in the middle of the rod like I've experienced with other rods of this type. If I were to hang heavier curtains, I'd sure use the third one. All in all, with a little silver spray paint, this rod coordinates with the rest of my kitchen/dining room and was 1/4 the price of a similar silver one. I'd recommend it.

Don't bother, look elsewhere!
Not only did it take ten days to arrive despite having Amazon Prime, it arrived bent so severely that the rod could not be extended rendering it unusable. The box it was shipped in arrived in perfect condition so the rod left the warehouse damaged. Very poor quality control and an incredibly frustrating experience from start to finish. The rod is very lightweight and flimsy and the finials are a cheap hollow plastic. I returned it and bought a different rod. Don't waste your time and skip this one!

Decent quality for the price
I purchased 5 sets of these for my living room, it was nice to find an affordable option as I had to buy so many the same. The brackets they come with are quite small, so I would not recommend using very heavy curtains. They are not the most sturdy curtain rods but they do look nice and were easy to install. I have not had any issues with them and would buy again.

Cheap, pretty, and functional
This curtain rod wouldn't hold much weight, but was perfect for what I wanted to use it for. If you need something cheap but looks more expensive than it is to hold sheers or very lightweight curtains, these are perfect. The rod is rolled metal, and the finials are plastic. The finials tend to fall off a lot, so I'd recommend gluing them down with some silicone or epoxy once you've determined the correct length for your windows.
