Awesome for ham radio

I am not using this for it's original purpose, but it's just so awesome for my needs. I am a ham radio operator and frequently I have to string 150-250 feet of string over high branches to fish rope, then an antenna, up into the trees. I always used those 250 ft of contractors string that came on those awful winders. When I saw this, the price said "Try me". I bought it and 250ft of fresh string. The string it comes with is 110 ft and thick enough that I could empty it out and get the whole 250ft in. When I pulled out the old string I was impressed at how smoothly you can spool string out. It also comes apart easily so getting the new string in was easy. The big test was spooling up the 250ft reel. All I can say is it was a breeze. What used to take 10-15 minutes to wind back up only took about 3 minutes. So now my other club members are buying them too.

Best line for a roofer

Had this a week now and can tell you it’s the best string line I’ve ever used I’m a roofer and finding a decent line is hard work they can cost you a lot of time and money if your using a rubbish chalk line this line will mark multiple lines feels very strong and winds in easily it feels tougher than any line I’ve ever used trust me if your a roofer buy one

Absolutely cracking chalk line . Working on large scale roofing projects it’s been a great addition . I do like to keep some dry & add water to others to get a better line . All in all I will definitely be ordering half a dozen more of these . Trust me just buy it ????

Best chalk line ever

By far the best chalk line I’ve ever used. Makes perfect bright lines even at 80’ there’s no missing spots and you can get a lot of lines before you have to reel it in to re-chalk. I’ve been using chalk lines for 20years in roofing and never had one come close to this bad boy. I always used a chalk hog which is pretty good but this one here tops the cake. Only downfall is it reels in pretty slow but they make a 3x one that reels in 3x as fast
