Looks cool, function is meh

Fits in tight spaces and looks good but the operation is a little difficult to get the hang of. It also doesnt work well when wet compared to a standard bell.

Looks cool. Sound is not aggressive

Cool looking bell! Sounds like a light high bitched single ding noise. It is not an agressive sounding bell. If you want something more loud and annoying, this is NOT the product for you. I like that it is not gaudy and takes up minimal real estate on my bike. The screw could be a little longer to attach to a wider area on my bike. Fit on a wrapped area of my handle bars. Hoping the spring and plastic lever hold up. ????

The best bell on the planet for sharing the trail

This melodious invention has a sound that sustains for a few seconds, and it is musical to your ears. More important is how it serves other trail users. The initial tone lets a walker or runner know that you are approaching from behind. The sustain continues to gently inform a trail user about your forward progress. It's the ultimate in trail-sharing safety and courtesy. I have an Oi for each bike.

Great accessory to have!

Most people were able to hear it when I rang it twice-only reason its a 4 instead of a 5. I do like the design of it and it stays in place. Love it and definitely would buy this product again.

Great at the start, but then the spring broke (an honest review, for someone that was in my shoes)

I enjoyed this bell from day one, but then one night my bike had been damaged and I am still trying to attach a new spring to get the bell functioning again. It is not the sturdiest design, and there are alternatives on the market that may be able to sustain a few crashes.

Good bell at good price but not enough grip for small handlebars.

Good sound but needs better way to attach to narrower handlebars on bike. Inserts that slip into bar grip are too small to work on my bike. I have had to add my own spacers.

Effective

I mostly ride at night and use this bell to warn deer and other critters away from my path. While not super loud it is good enough to be effective. Nice sounding and simple to install, it looks good on my road bike.

It works

I had seen a number of reviews saying this type of bell was not great, however ive had this on my road bike for a couple of weeks now, it does not rattle, is a clear crisp warning, i dont expect it to work in trffic as some have said as well, but i dont expect any bell to be that audible if im in heavy trafic. I got this for the times when i need it to warn pedestrians when i have to be on paths/pedestrian areas and i think it will be just fine for that. Easy to fit if you are half sensible, there are not the issues others have said of it falling apart or sounding ''dull'' this is because they havent fitted it correctly. Would recommend. If you want to warn in all scenarios get a clown horn, i.e. buy the right tool for the job you need it to do, dont buy the wrong tool then moan about it.

Bene, ma non benissimo

The media could not be loaded. Pro: design accattivante, suono ben udibile e persistente (come un normale campanello da bici), utili le due anse nella parte inferiore per agevolare il passaggio di cavi o tubi freno Contro: unico, la vite in dotazione è corta e se si vuole montare su un manubrio da 31 scordatevi di mettere la gomma antiscivolo in dotazione. Dopo la prima uscita devo rivedere la recensione: purtroppo vite corta e assenza gomma rendono instabile il campanello. Peccato perché è un bell’oggetto.

TOP: - Design - Geräuschpegel MID: - Robstheit der Betätigung. Die Feder und der Mechanismus könnten robuster sein. FLOP (Daher nur 3 Sterne): - Die Montage der Klingel ist ein Krampf. Durch den Metallbügel lässt sie sich nicht weit genug "aufbiegen" um über die Lenkestange geschoben zu werden. Ich musste sie dafür ordentlich verdrehen - mit der Gefahr das die Klingel kaputt geht. Da fragt man sich immer ob bei der Entwicklung mal ein Probeverbau gemacht wurde.

Good product

I really like this bell. My only problem is that it doesn’t fit my handlebar because it’s too big. I wish they made a smaller size. I don’t actually use this product because it doesn’t fit my bike. But it’s still a good product. Just make sure that you only buy it if it fits your bike

Feder sofort verbogen - Klingel nicht mehr zu gebrauchen

Leider ist die verbaute Feder vollkommen ungenügend für diesen Einsatzzweck. Sie hat nicht die Steifigkeit/Robustheit, die notwendig wäre. Nach nur kurzer Zeit der Benutzung der Klingel ist die Feder verbogen (siehe Foto), so dass der Klöppel die Klingel gar nicht mehr erreicht und so kein Klingeln mehr möglich ist.
