Good quality fitting but requires Toto adapter

Yes, it is brass as stated in the description. By the time it is installed and a bidet hose is connected, you will not be able to see the fitting at all, so the finish doesn't matter. If you're using it with a Toto Washlet, you will need the Toto Adapter p/n THP3141. The adapter is 1/2" NPSM, it extends the 1/2" thread for a tight connection with a Toto Washlet. I bought the adapter for $12 from Amazon.

Worked well!

I saw several similar products, but went with this one because many others complained about not having a good fit. I'm happy to report this worked well and has a tight fit for our toilet to bidet connection

Useful part

Used this Tee to add a half inch threaded water hammer supressor to the dishwasher line. Used thread tape on the half inch port. Had to tighten the suppressor all the way because it was leaking. Had to hold the Tee with a Vice Grip while tightening the suppressor. Compression fittings leaked at first also, but after hot water went through the line, the rubber gaskets must have softened because the leaks stopped. No leaks after 2 months.

Perfect part for my project

Perfect part for my project. Mine was also rough brass (as in the text description, versus the picture which appears to be incorrect). I see no leakage in the 3/8" compression connections, and (at least so far) Permatex 56521 Thread Sealant seems to have forestalled any leaks in the 1/2" pipe connection.

Ordered silver got brass. If you have exposed plumbing and want it to look good, color aside, this one is rough looking.

Deceiving pictures in the product

It was perfect for my purpose, the picture shows the fitting in chrome but the details of the listing says It’s brass, it is actually brass and the main photo on the listing should be changed as it’s not available in chrome. They are deceiving by showing a picture that’s not available
