Works as advertised, fits in both narrow and wide would mason jars. Easy to clean won't split if you put it in the diahwasher

Well designed

The shape if prefect to crush vegetables for fermenting, you can can pound the vegetables or roll it in a circular fashion as in a vortex and the edge will be crushing the plants to release the juice. It is made from good quality stainless steel so the brine (so far) has not corroded it.

Great saukraut tool.

So much better than the wooden one I had. Doesn't stain, pick up odour. Works well in pounding the cabbage and packing down the cabbage into the jar. Highly recommend it.
