Well worth the money

These are beautiful valances. I have it in my kitchen and they are just perfect! I love the fabric. They look very expensive & elegant even though they are just hanging over my kitchen window. Would definitely buy from them again!

Good and not so good

This was the best looking set I could find online. Wanted something classy enough to use in my home office. The good: The cottony toile fabric of the cover and two shams is lovely and soft to the touch, and the design is crisp and elegant. The dust skirt and remaining black sham are another story entirely. The dust skirt is too short, should have been a couple of inches longer, but that I could live with. The fabric itself, while the design is nice and complements the bedcover, is just awful. After washing one time, the very thin (not quilted like the toile cover) black fabric comes out quite wrinkly and needs to be ironed, as I did on a very low temperature. Therein lies the problem. Black gunk from the fabric came off onto my iron and ironing board cover; a mess to remove. Then, I noticed the fabric rubbed off onto anything lighter. So, I've ditched the black pillow sham, can't have it doing that. A big "heads up" on trying to iron the dust skirt: If you get an iron within a breath of the mesh fabric of the middle of the dust ruffle, (the platform) the fabric will Poof! Disappear! It's made of the thinnest, cheapest paper-looking stuff I've ever seen on a product like this. Even as careful as I was to avoid getting the iron near it, a tiny bit got zapped. A hole in the platform appeared at the edge and grew. For now, I've got it taped together so I could use it, but it surely won't go through another wash or even hold up to much movement. Even without the fabric problem, it doesn't look great. The fabric is too thin, no body, droops. If you're looking for a daybed cover and a couple of matching shams in a nice design, fairly well made, yes, go for it. As for the 3rd sham and dust skirt, you may find these as useless as I did. A lot to pay for just the cover and one sham. Have been looking for another dust skirt for daybed to replace this, in black to match, no luck. What a shame this manufacturer didn't follow through on quality for the whole set.

didn't match one ordered two days ago.

ordered first one and was OK. Because our window is a "double" we ordered another when we liked the first one. Didn't match! Was black and had a similar pattern as first but not the same. Rather than return am ordering a third. If it doesn't match will really be pissed. how can the same product, ordered 3 days apart not match? Second was actually better quality than first. We'll see!!!

Mother's Day gift for my very happy Mommy :-)

I purchased this as a Mother's Day gift for my mom, a woman who is extremely difficult to shop for, as she is basically bedridden. She spends most of her time in her room, on her very comfy daybed, reading, watching TV, coloring, doing crossword puzzles, etc., and has everything she needs and wants. That said, she LOVES this bedding set! Along with brand new matching sheets and bamboo pillows, she feels like a queen in her room now. This daybed set is lovely, and would probably go well with almost any decor. It's very easy to wash, does not shrink, and is much more lightweight than a traditional comforter, which is perfect for Mom. The sheets and pillowcases are made of a rather thin material, but given that it's designed for a daybed, and probably not a bed one sleeps in regularly, they're probably fine for most homes. So: very pretty, very comfy, and Mom loves it!

Lovely print, in a well-constructed, lined valance

A lovely, well-constructed, lined valance. Barely wrinkled when taken out of the package, the wrinkles disappeared after the valance was hung up for a couple of days. I don’t like to see “ruffles” at the top of rod pocket valances, so I placed the rod in the uppermost pocket on the valance. I like the more tailored look. The fabric is a nice mid-weight and, as you can see, the lining blocks out a quite a bit of the sun. Good value for the price.

It is lovely to have the coordinated fabric as a backing.

This was more than expected. Others have stated that the quilted daybed cover was backed in a plain white fabric; however, mine came with the black and white check fabric on the back. It is also on the back of the 2 quilted pillow shams. It is very thin, however it is nice to have the coordinated fabric as a backing instead of just plain white. I haven't put it on the bed yet, but just by taking it out of the packaging I can tell that it is the exact black and white look I was hoping for when I ordered this set.

I love this daybed quilt and pillows

I love this daybed quilt and pillows. Didn`t know there was special ones for daybeds until it popped up on Amazon when I was looking for a quilt. I recently painted and renovated our spare bedroom. As I painted grey this black and white ensemble looks great in the room. I even dusted off my crocheting hooks and made an afghan to match. LOVE the look!!

Pretty

The daybed cover and pillow shams were just what I expected. They are a touch (about 1 1/2 inch) longer than our twin bed, but it didn't matter. The pattern is perfect for our room.
