This stuff is the real deal!
I know its a little pricey but you honestly can't go wrong with the Layrite pomade! The hold is great, it looks good and the cream soda fragrance is the cherry on top, super clean all around!

This is by far, the best pomade
I've become a pomade snob. I cant tell you how many brands I've tried, and for me, I can say that Layrite Original is amazing. The scent is very light and barley noticeable. There are other brands I've tried where it's quite simply overwhelming. I have straight, medium think hair and I typically get the Executive style haircut. I apply this pomade on towel-dried, damp hair, and the hold is phenomenal. Strong, but not HARD. Hold stays all day, and does not flake. Definitely try this if you haven't - well worth it.

Best pomade on the market
Been using this for about 5 years, will never use another product. Washes out easily, holds brilliantly and has a super subtle smell that smells clean.

I have tried MANY hair gels over the years and this is by far the best! Put product in palms, rub your hands together, put n hair and style. The scent is light, but pleasant and not feminine. The hold it provides lasts all day, without diminishing, and even so, it washes out super easy.

No acne and natural feel.
No buildup, good shine, easy to wash out or run hands through my hair afterwards. I have issues with hair products and acne and this pomade is the best product I've tried for that.

Best pomade
My barber used this pomade on my hair and it was really great! Wasn’t sticky, held all day and washed out easily. As long as this brand is available I will always use it!

Great product for the price!
Super strong hold and no build up. Rinses out with ease but doesn't sweat out. Best "pomade" style product on the market today. Been using for years now.

Something not quite right with this purchase
Firstly I love Layrite Original Pomade. It is perfect for the old school hairstyle that I like. However recently I have had a couple of misfires. Three orders ago Amazon sent the wrong size. I ordered the large one and I received the small one. I was so busy that I just sucked it up. This time I have received the correct size but the lid was loose and as a result the pomade is not quite as good as it should be. The gel itself has gone from a light translucent amber to a mirky kinda darker and thicker product that has a bit less hold Again I have decided just to get on with it but next time I will send it back despite the hassle. Come on Amazon, get your act together!

A little goes a long way!
Great stuff, a small amount gives great hold and restyleable with a wet comb. Washes out super easy. Smells really nice too!
