Great quality.

It's great quality, heavy, and thicker than a lot of the cheaper pie plates out there. Let's be real you're paying for the name, it's designer, you can get cheaper pie plates that work just as good. But people that know their way around the kitchen are going to go "oh wow that is a Le Creuset!" The quality is excellent, taken care of this pie plate could last generations. Maybe one day your descendant will be talking about you when they say this was my great great great grandmothers pie plate.

Beautiful pie pan

Le Creuset does baking dishes so well...this is lovely to look at and the right size for a deep dish apple pie. Can't wait to use it.

Please stop manufacturing in China.

There are cheaper pie pan out there, but the appeal of Le Creuset is knowing that they manufacture their cookware/bakeware in France - the country probably most recognized around the world for their food. Well, their iron pieces are still made in France, but more and more of their production is happening in China - including this pie pan. Disappointing. If they're going to continue to charge premium prices, I expect a premium product. If I want a China-made piece of bakeware, I'll go to Walmart.

Le Creuset is always a pleaser, no matter which piece you buy. This is just another practical yet beautiful addition to the ones I already purchased

Worth every penny

These were more costly (2x) than I started out wanting to spend, but I am now very, very happy I spent the money. I was replacing some cheaper Corning that was made from low quality ceramic/stoneware with a cheap coating. The Le Creuset quality stoneware & quality coating combo mean no cracking, which means no exposed porous surfaces for pie gunk to get into and get funky. Easy to serve from, and easy to clean. And they are beautiful to boot (I got both the Marseille blue and Cherry red versions, and they really look sharp when you are serving to guests). It's nice to have a pie plate that I don't expect to have to replace, at least not for many years .

Best pie pan you’ll ever find.

The perfect pie pan. Fluted edge time help catch any extra filling that bubbles over, gorgeous coloring, nonstick ceramic, and dishwasher safe. All you ever wanted in a pie pan. And it’s stunning too!

Love it.

Used it immediately. (I had some pie crust dough chilling and waiting in the fridge.) It made THE BEST pie crust that I have made so far. Bottom crust completely cooked and wonderfully flaky. Top that off with being pretty and easy to clean and how could you go wrong?
