Works well enough

It's very cute, and my 5 month old loves how soft it is. He's in the stage where he wants to feel everything, and this is one of his favorites to "pet". We ordered this because we had to take an 8 hour road trip (moving), and I wanted something that would keep him busy in the car. It arrived a day before we had to leave, and through the packing and cleaning, I only really had a few minutes to plug him into my computer to get the name programmed in. That didn't happen. The second I plug him in, this horrible sound started to play through my speakers waking my son from his nap. I have seen other people have the same problem, but didn't have time to troubleshoot the issue. That being said, it works very well for entertaining my 5 month old. We never got his name programmed in partly due to us not having the time to sit down and troubleshoot, but I'm sure there are fixes that I will have to find. So if Scout saying your son or daughters name is important to you, please make sure you have a few minutes to troubleshoot if you run into the same issue I did! Another small complaint is that Scout isn't very loud, and doesn't grab my sons attention if he isn't fully facing him, but overall I am happy that I purchased this for him!

Daughter loves it

My daughter is in love with Violet! She had her first at age one. She is ten now and loves the new version better. She is special needs. Love how it can say her name. She also has a not so common name

These are dollar the dollar the best bang for the buck

This is our 3rd violet we have ordered, between one for our own daughter, to gifting this over and over. its a great toy for the cost. The customization of adding the name to Violet just makes this an over the top buy for the price. If you are a parent, get one of these, trust me. Youll love it as much as your baby will.

Great puppy but liked the older version better

We liked how this puppy can be personalized with name and favorites (color, food, and animal). We have the older version too and actually liked that one better. The new addition with the paw music is difficult for a toddler and the tune is repetitive.

Love that it says child’s name

Bought for my 3yo’s birthday. Probably could have bought it a year before, but my kids were fascinated that it says his name and knows things about him. Super cute.

Love Scout!

My 7 month old loves his scout. I love that you are able to personalize it. Only issue is the 5 minutes of bedtime is defective. You press the paw and after a few seconds it stops, it does not go anywhere near 5 minutes.
