Indicator light is very dim.

I'm reasonably happy with this switch, however the indicator light is dim and not very noticeable during daylight. A white Neutral wire is necessary for the indicator to light up (i.e. it has 3 lugs....1) Hot from normal switch, 2) load from normal switch, 3)white-neutral). If you don't have a neutral wire in the box it will not light the indicator.

It works - hope it holds up.

I really like having a pilot light inside the house on outside lights that I can’t see easier. Installation was easy - old switch out, new switch in. After a month or two, I am having a little problem with the pilot light when the switch is on. I have to press the switch a 2nd time to get it to come on. We will see if it holds up.

perfect for those special switches

installed for disposal (which is right next to a light switch), attic light (now we can tell if it's on from the hall before it burns out!), and plan to get one more for the jets on the Jacuzzi tub switch. I wired it so that the light comes on when the switch is on. if the light doesn't come on like you want (on/off when the switch is on) switch the 2 non-load wires.
