Beautiful Lamp. Read More.

This is a beautiful lamp, and it arrived earlier than anticipated. I’m great full for that. It was also easy to assemble. The only thing I don’t like about this lamp, is the lamp shade. I don’t like having to assemble a lamp shade. It makes the lamp look inexpensive. I’ll be buying two new shades, because the shades arent as nice and the rest of the lamp. I hope this review helps you decide wether you give this seller your business or not. Happy shopping!

Very muted light

Debated on buying this lamp for a few months then finally went for it and I’m glad I did! Beautifully made, easy to put together. Loved that it came with gloves to protect the lamp shade. I got the walnut color. Took off one star because the shade has a thick white plastic backing (which helps it retain shape and adds durability) but it causes the light to be much more muted than if it was just paper or canvas. I’m using an led bulb so that I can have brighter output with less wattage use. Also the cord just hangs in the middle which can be an eyesore so I used clear tape to tape it to the back of a leg running down to the floor. Eventually I might purchase little brackets and stick them on as a more permanent solution cause I don’t think the tape will hold over time. But I love the lamp, it suits my living room aesthetic and it’s a good size for the price in comparison to others I was looking at in the same style.

Nice lamp, easy to set up

I'd been looking for a floor lamp for some time (with little success) before deciding to go with this one - and I'm so glad I did. This lamp is really nice; I love the color of the walnut wood, and it suits my living room perfectly. I've even already got compliments on the lamp! I had been worried about brightness, but it's been no problem at all - I hooked it up to a Philips Hue bulb, and it's been great - brightens up the room nicely. Setup was quick and easy: it took me no longer than 15-20 minutes to set it up. No tools needed, and the parts join together well (you can't tell they're separate parts unless you REALLY try to look). The hardest part was setting up the lamp shade, as it's harder to do with just one person (but totally doable). I'll probably try to find a solution for the cord so it's not just dangling there, but honestly, this is a great lamp. I might even purchase another for the bedroom!

legs come in 2 pieces that you need to twist together (like a pool cue) the unfortunate thing is that the upper section and lower section are made from different pieces of wood so color and patterns dont match from a distance, you wont be able to tell, and my friends commented on how nice the light is and they love the style but upclose, the mismatching kind of bothers me also the electrical cord from the lamp area just dangles down freely in between the 3 legs, a bit of a poor design wish they had designed some clip that the cord can be clipped onto one of the legs to keep it to the side and perhaps away from the field of view. ill be adding some plastic clips with 3M taped to one of the leg to improve on this.
