Great for a nice Italian dinner or a barbeque in the back yard. Don't be too sloppy though. The material although it washed up nice, isn't to absorbent when it comes to wiping your face and hands. I wouldn't suggest using them when eating lobster, lol.

great deal for the price

I ordered these for a family party. We wanted to dress it up but still make it easy. These napkins and the tablecloth were so affordable that we planned to throw them out after the first use, but they went through the washer and dryer and came out without a wrinkle.

I read the reviews before I bought these so I knew they weren't going to be super absorbent. They worked for what I got them for… a one year old's first birthday. They washed well and were fine for lunch napkins!

Cute but jeez I wish they were cotton....

Bought these napkins to go with a Kentucky Bluegrass picnic themed dinner I was putting on as a fundraiser for my boys' school. I also ordered the same tablecloth to go with it. Anyway...these napkins fit the theme so I used them, but wow...they are cheap feeling. Not sure if they are rayon or what but I had to wash them before using bc they felt so "slippery" and unnatural, like nothing would stick to it if you tried to wipe your hands on it. So I put them in the wash but it didn't change their feel. :( Positive: --decent price for napkins and cute for a picnic Negative: --Not utilitarian at all. After a few washes they just don't feel "worn in" bc they aren't cotton. They are an unnatural fiber--it's like trying to rub your dirty hands off on a ski coat. Just not soothing or practical.
